My Dark Horse Cup Pick Kreider deal
This deal is fair without the condition imo. Those 2 prospects and a 2nd is plenty for a rental forward

Someone's salty that the Stars didn't re-sign Zuccarello.

Is this reasonable? I'd like to ask you specifically since you're the most active DAL fans here...</div></div>
I think it looks pretty good. I love the signing of Kaski. I think he's one of the most underrated FA targets right now. Nobody is really talking about this kid at all and he has the makings of a legitimate top-4 defenseman. With him, I'd have our top-4 like this next season:
Lindell-Klingberg
Heiskanen-Kaski
With these 4, Dallas only needs to re-sign one of Fedun or Polak, honestly I'd probably lean more towards Fedun, but both have played well this year. With Bayreuther ready in the AHL, it'll come down to him or Oleksiak for that 3rd pair LD spot, leaving one of them as the 7th Defenseman.
With the Stars picking up Panarin here, I'm not sure I'd move Faksa. Dallas definitely needs an uptick in scoring, but with the addition of Panarin, Hintz growing into a top-6 forward, and hopefully Gurianov following in his footsteps, I don't think the Stars would need to add Kadri. Losing Faksa would hurt us on the defensive end, and I don't know if losing his defense is worth adding Kadri's offense in this specific scenario.
I'd also rather see L'Esperance in the bottom-6 than Spezza, but that's a personal preference. All in all this isn't bad at all, I just think you may have over though a couple of small pieces. One of the better Stars teams I've seen on this page though, so I'm not complaining.

Lmao DAL defense is second best in the league in goals against. Scandella wouldn't fit in any pair. Lindell-Klingberg, Heiskanen-Polak, Oleksiak-Carrick/Fedun. There's no place or need for him at all.

I usually just scroll through when I see these huge trades involving multiple players. Usually end up being unrealistic. But this one is actually very good, especially from the Rangers perspective. Very well balanced.

I actually really like this deal and I think NYR fans would like it too. It’s basically a breakdown of
Hintz + 2nd for Zuccarello
Robertson + Nichushkin + 1st for Hayes
Janmark for Namestnikov
Riley Tufte + 3rd rounder x2 for Buchnevich
Maybe take Honka and throw him into the rangers trade for Buchnevich? Overall it looks really good

They’re getting a great return what’re you talking about
Hintz + 2nd for Zuccarello

Hintz and Robertson easily have top 6 potential, plus whoever you draft with that 1st rounder. These aren't middle 6 players, they're top end prospects. Hintz was a dealbreaker in the Karlsson trade. Dickinson has untapped potential too but he doesn't ever get a chance here. Think of Mark Stone as a good comparable for Jason Robertson.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>buchiegang</b></div><div>The point is that 1. There are bettter prospects who they can likely acquire for Hayes and Zuccarello (Vesalainen, Fabbro, Dubé, for starters) and 2. The whole other point of trading these guys is to clear cap and open spots for guys we have like Andersson Chytil and Kravtsov to get more ice time or have a spot on the team. They don’t want to take back players, who maybe good in their own right, who can/will be outproduced by our younger players immediately.</div></div>
Robertson will be so much better than Dube. I think he’s on a goal per game pace in the OHL and over 2 ppg. He’s 100% playing in our top 6 next year. I’d honestly take him over Vesalinen and Dube (idk about Fabbro. And Hintz is just finding his game and he’s super noticeable every night. I think it’s a great package for half of them being pending ufa’s

He has shown signs if you have actually watched him play. He has only ever had one other AHL season lol. He has all the tools to be a good top 6 forward. Plays hard every shift, strong in puck battles, big, physical, very fast, good hands, good shot, strong defensively, It's tough to produce on a Stars team (in a 4th line role too) that has some of the worst offensive depth it has ever had. Not every top 6 player starts the same. Could easily have a huge breakout season next year. Rangers management would have interest in him being a part of the deal for sure. There's a reason the Stars wouldn't move him for Karlsson. I think your expectations of what you'll get for those guys are too high. Fans rarely turn out happy when they see the return they get for players.

4. Yes Guhle would be, he is already better than Lindell. Just because the Sabres mismanaged their roster and have left him in the AHL while keeping with trash in the NHL doesnt mean hes an AHL talent.</div></div>
Better than Lindell? Please pass on whatever you are smoking. Lindell has turned himself into one of the most underrated defensive blue liners in the game. He's spent more time on the PK than every player in the league, with the exception of 4 of them. He almost single-handed kept an injury torn defense together and they are now the 2nd best defense in the league. As good as Klingberg is offensively, you're looking at his counterpart defensively. Guhle is nowhere close to Lindell right now.

That team probably should add a 2nd line winger. This team's wingers below the first line are quite inexperienced.

Had the same thought. Robertson and Gurianov could be great, but no guarantees. They can likely get an Eberle or Zucc for no more than 5.5 imo. Dzingel might only cost someone 4.5 per just cause he’s super underrated

in your scenario its part of the trade, I'm saying I do not see the Stars taking that 6mil AAV for another 4 years. Stars are in no means taking that. they would rather use that 6mil on a pending UFA.
If you think Guhle is better than Lindell you clearly have not watched him at all this year. He is pairing with Klingberg on the top pairing and is the Stars best penalty killer he also stepped up earlier in the season when Klingberg was out with his hand injury. Lindell is in line for an extension and is probably getting somewhere in the ballpark of 4.5-5.5x8.
Also if Guhle is that good why has he only played 2 games with Buffalo this year? (Not saying that as a knock on him, I am just curious as to why he is in the AHL at the moment.</div></div>
So are Sabre fans. He is better than Scandella Hunwick Beaulieu and Pilut, yet Pilut is up (which he should be, sedning him back to the A would hurt him) and Botterill refuses to make room for him, probably because they have 6 LD up, but he seems scared to lose Scandella or Hunwick to waivers, which every Sabre fan would great with delight. Thats why, in the Sabres media even, theyre saying recall him or trade him, dont waste him - we need a decision on him now.
