Quite a squad, would probably put the youngster bedard on the wing, but definitely in the top 6 and pp1, might look at perfetti as a setup man also, lots of goals and speed are well covered, but possibly a little light on setup man, outside of bedard. Damn I like this squad, would be awesome to watch. After looking closer this is well built squad, perfetti In the right bubble spot. That 4th line is awesome

Team Finland 2024 hockey world cup
I think you're underrating Finland.
Basically any international tournament in past five years or so have proven that you can never underrate Finland.
Also imo some of these picks are rather controversial. For instance, I don't see any of Ranta, Nutivaara, Välimäki, Heinola or Korpisalo making an appearance, and players like Kapanen and Donskoi are close to the cut. Also the lines don't really fit at all to what Finnish hockey philosophy is like, where the balance is key.
I'd use these kind of lines:
Forwards
Laine / Barkov / Lundell - elite line mixed with skill, offensive and defensive prowess
Teräväinen / Aho / Rantanen - elite line with great ability for creating plays, as well as executing them
Granlund / Hintz / Kakko - borderline elite line that holds great speed, great passing ability and also flair for scoring
Lehkonen / Kotkaniemi / Puljujärvi - line consisting of players with size and solid defensive statline
Defense
Heiskanen / Hakanpää/Vatanen - with Heiskanen's ability to play both left and right side, as well as an offensive or defensive role, creating a pair of him and his team mate Hakanpää in situations where Finns are leading and need to contribute more defensively, or creating a pair with Vatanen that brings a more offensive aspect to the game. Heiskanen can carry virtually any pair with him with reasonable results.
Lindell / Hakanpää/Vatanen - Lindell has experience of playing with offensive pairing after playing majority of his career with Klingberg, so I could see him and Vatanen bring a solid D-pair. Lindell and Hakanpää would also form a solid shutdown pair for Finland.
Mikkola / Ristolainen - two NHL d-men playing in bottom-4 roles in their respective teams. Are probably the best individuals left out of Finnish NHL D-men.
Goalies: Juuse Saros and Ville Husso - Level is pretty self-explanatory.
Reserves: Eeli Tolvanen, Erik Haula, Olli Määttä, Antti Raanta
Also, I'd give a potential shoutout to Aron Kiviharju - regarding his development he could potentially make an appearance. At 17 his junior record is already better than that of Heiskanen's, and will likely be the 2024 first overall pick. And given that on paper Finnish D-men are weak, Kiviharju could become an option if he dominates in Liiga in 2023-24 season.

Stars pass.
Stankoven, Bourque and Johnston are all right handed centermen. No need for Bourgault
Stars are a bit log jammed at LD, Miro has to play the right side. No need for Broberg, especially with Grushnikov and Bichsel coming in when Lindell and Suter contracts are up.
Not worth giving up Robo for that

Rumors about Oilers doing this
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Isles5513</b></div><div>I watched Edmonton get swept.</div></div>
It was pretty close in the playoffs, and that's with injuries to several key Oilers. Here are Colorado’s stats in each series:
vs NAS: 59.66 xGF%, 62.69 SCF%, 56.58 HDCF%
vs STL: 59.84 xGF%, 62.93 SCF%, 62.89 HDCF%
vs EDM: 53.28 xGF%, 53.03 SCF%, 46.07 HDCF%
vs TBL: 60.57 xGF%, 60.20 SCF%, 56.73 HDCF%
Of all of Colorado's opponents, only Edmonton skated with them, even besting the Champs in High Danger chances. They were let down by major injuries to their starter, otherwise it would have been a much closer series.
As for Colorado’s vaunted defense, here’s how many high danger chances they allowed from each opponent:
NAS: 9.95 HDCA/60
STL: 6.89 HDCA/60
EDM: 15.06 HDCA/60
TBL: 9.00 HDCA/60
Again, Edmonton is the anomaly here. They had no problem against Colorado's defense, regularly penetrating it for high danger chances.
I do think it's pretty funny how you think you can mock a team that made it to the final 4 and played well against the best team in the league.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Isles5513</b></div><div>He’s brutal dude. The number of secondary assists he has are crazy high lol.</div></div>
First, I don't think you understand that secondary assists are the norm for a defenseman, and a high number of secondary assists is a good thing as it means the player is moving the puck out of his zone effectively.
Secondly, Barrie is ranked 19th in 5v5 points among defensemen for the past 3 years and is 17th in secondary assists. He also ranks 16th for primary assists (lol) so there's no imbalance there as you suggested.

Realistic Tkachuk deal
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jchockey12</b></div><div>Realistic? Really? I swear I have to say these things every time.
Tarasenko is not going to CGY. He has a no trade clause and he will go to NYC teams or LA for his wife's modeling career.
Kyrou is reportedly untouchable (along with Parayko and Thomas) but take that with a grain of salt.
Also, I really don't think Tkachuk signs for 9.5M. He turned down an 8 year $88M contract from CGY.
Overall this is just way too much for Tkachuk.
Most you'll get is Kyrou and a first.</div></div>
Tkachuk is three pieces at least. A Kyrou, Bolduc, and a 1st probably gets in done. They need someone to replace Tkachuk in the top six in any deal, and Kyrou fits the bill. If you want a good player, you need to sacrifice a good player.
In this situation Calgary can eat some of his salary to get a pick and a prospect from a third team like L.A or New York

Rather spend 7 million on Kadri as a top center.
Edm can't afford Dumba, remember the Nurse pay raise kicks in next year. Maybe Dumba to Toronto for Nylander? If the Leafs fail in the playoffs again and decide to move one of their top 4 forwards to fill their weakness. Maybe Nylander can try playing center again.
I can see trading Eriksson to keep Fiala.</div></div>
There is no way Minnesota would ever deal Joel to keep Fiala. There's a reason JEE got the long term deal last year and not Fiala. And that's not to say that that he's far better or anything, but Fiala is most definitely the odd man out if comes down to those two which would never happen anyways

Supposedly Dumba isn't available anymore, but given Addison is ready and Wild probably don't have the cap for Dumbas next contract, maybe Guerin pulls the trigger. He probably should if this deal is in front of him.
