who adds
Toronto would need to add for sure. Miller is significantly more valuable to Vancouver than Rielly would be.

100%, but I was hoping to troll some Leafs fans with the trade details.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>DiehardRedWingsFan58</b></div><div>Both Detroit and Seattle pass, Take far more then Lind and a 2nd for us to take Loui Eriksson off your hands. And Ron Francis should get a better Goalie then Holtby he's going to get a lot of good choices here. Adding Marner and having to give big contract to Hughes and Pettersson. Then Vancouver will be in the same boat as Tampa and Toronto down the road.</div></div>
Throw a third in to Detroit then. For Seattle, they might take it. The rest of their expansion choices from Vancouver are uh, well terrible. And being in the same boat as Toronto and Tampa is still a pretty massive improvement on the boat Vancouvers been in for 9 years.

Is he back practicing? I haven't paid any attention to the Canucks the last week, probably why I missed that. But I'd agree with you about Hamonic/Edler and Rathbone/Bowey.

yeah you could do that, or you could use the assets you get from trading him to plug holes and then use the space to sign Hamilton.
And yeah Seattle might not take Myers if we give them a first rounder to take him for the expansion draft. But you gotta shoot your shot. Maybe they do?

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>moli92</b></div><div>So you think COL will sell Toews for pennies on the dollar and then also lose another player to Seattle? Thats the worst possible outcome for the Avs. Not to mention Toews wouldnt even be the one going, it would be Graves if anything. EJ can either waive his NMC or be bought out cause Sakic will make sure Makar, Girard, and Toews are all staying long term. SEA can take one of Graves/Donskoi/Compher/Francouz and move on</div></div>
Fair enough, switch that up to Graves for a third.

Secondly toews has been a top 10 dman this season as well as they traded 2 2nds to acquire him so that wouldn’t go through avs prolly pay Seattle to take graces</div></div>
I looked at New Jersey first, wasn't easy finding a trade there.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>moli92</b></div><div>Sakic says absolutely not</div></div>
Normally yeah. But his team is losing a defenceman to Seattle no matter what and every team will know this. Try to leverage that and pay more than what others would. I doubt anyone is giving up 2 seconds for him this summer. Or Sakic will be paying some kind of premium to get Seattle to take someone else.
