Reloading for next year
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Brolekb2b</b></div><div>Yeah on board with this take exactly. Plus moving Jeannot won't look good for us considering the ransom we paid, but every GM misses at least once. Not sure sacrificing him for Kubalik would be much better, the dude just needs to stay healthy.</div></div>
Jeannot has had God awful luck with injuries since being acquired.

Reloading for next year
So instead of working on our own reclamation project the GM absolutely loves, we take someone else's and pay someone to take ours ? Makes a lot of sense I guess ( not really)? Stamkos will sign in the 6-6.5 range in TB. He realizes cap is tight and wants the ring more.Duke probably in the 3.5 and with the savings I mentioned makes up the difference Jeannot and Kubalik. Back to Kubalik if you have to expect him not to play defense to be somewhat productive he won't be playing much for Jon Cooper.

Looking at them
Much rather resign Motte than Kubalik. Lines are pretty solid . Think Duke gets a bit more.

And w/ Hamilton and Hughes, is Hedman even getting PP time? Just doesn't seem like a good fit for Jersey. And that blue line is even shakier defensively, which is problematic.</div></div>
He absolutely is unless the coach is a moron. I agree the blueline has issues as composed here.

So, TB completely changes it's philosophy on undersized defensemen? You didn't sign 1 ,but 2 runts in Aho, and Grzelcyk?

Offseason moving money around
Not a chance Brisebois considers either trade that's an utterly ridiculous price to dump Sheary . A buy out cost 583,333. Mind boggling people want to give up a 2/3 pair RD+ to dump him especially with TB's futures assets available or more accurately lack thereof. He also has a man crush on Jeannot.

Game 3 vs FLA lines in a blender
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BoltsFan9186</b></div><div>They didn’t play bad last night… line changes sometimes are only needed to give the defense another look. If we keep rolling out the same guys it’ll get easy to read. For example If Cirelli comes over the boards and they expect the righty Stamkos but lefty Kucherov comes out it could be a big different.</div></div>
Can't see Cooper splitting up. 21-86 especially with last change.

Fixing The Lightning 2024
You got A 70 point guy on the fourth line. A defenseman who had a severe career ending injury in the lineup. TB isn't trading for pickard. Glendening has done exactly what he was brought in to do exceptionally well. Gurianov oy vie.

Bruins
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Celtics21</b></div><div>I don’t think they cared who they played and it showed in their play. Once the presidents trophy was decided, they didn’t play until the third period of that Ottawa game where they played really well for a team wanting to not play Tampa.
They are going to have to go through two good teams regardless.
I am rooting for Florida to win because I want to see the potential to avenge last year if we get there. That said, I’d view TB as the easier out between the two. As long as a team is disciplined and doesn’t allow their powerplay to be a factor … TB is the easiest out among the 3 options we can play in the Atlantic</div></div>
Boston clearly tanked to get Toronto the only way it could have been more obvious would have been to shoot on Swayman and Ullmark themselves. TB's 3-1 record against Boston this year would indicate different for Boston. Honestly Florida was the only team in the Atlantic I was remotely concerned about.winner of the battle Florida wins Cup. TB isn't done yet either.

In this scenario it's better to buy Sheary out you have 600+k in cap space. 583,333 for the buyout and you don't give away any futures TB sorely lacks to begin with.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Celtics21</b></div><div>It really won’t because he’ll stay a Bruin if the price is that. He's a Bruin then and good luck.
P.S. Were y'all that scared of TB you tanked as badly as you did? I watched their last couple games they were trying...... TO LOOSE!!!!

Laffs fans come up with utter piles of garbage like this!!

Tamp down those expectations or you're going to be sadly disappointed in the return. It'll l be closer to what TB got for Bishop . Casey inserted for Cernak both were drafted in a similar range and time ago.relative to trade. So, you'll probably get Casey and a mid round pick at best.
