Utah Yetis Goin to the playoffs
Do you think Bill Armstrong is an idiot? Why on earth would he pay more for Chychrun than AZ got with 2 more years on the deal?

Marner For Saros
Two problems Marner say something to the affect of Go F*** yourself to Treliving when asked to waive. 2 Mariner is pricing himself out of interest. Is he a really good player? Absolutely will he get what he feels he's worth probably because it only takes one GM, however most contenders don't have the cap so he'll be going to a rebuild to get the dollars he wants

I agree TB says no Though I'm not sure why Ottawa says no to the TB one 1 year of Chychrun and a First for 7 years of Cirelli is a good deal imo. 2 years from now Cirelli will be on one of the better contracts in the league

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>RecycleShark</b></div><div>This article said that Cernak is TB's worst contract:
https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10116169-the-worst-contracts-on-every-nhl-team-for-the-2023-24-season
This article suggested that Chicago could get Cernak for a 3rd
https://thehockeywriters.com/lightning-blackhawks-could-be-trade-deadline-partners-again/
I thought about just offering a 3rd for Cernak, but I needed to move a RD to make room for him and I figured Rutta had some value, plus a good past relationship with TB and Hedman.
Cernak is clearly better than Rutta (which is why the Sharks would do this), but from the articles I read it appeared that TB might need to trade Cernak for cap reasons.</div></div>
Whoever wrote that article should either put the crackpipe down or completely pull their head out of their a$$ because they're absolutely clueless. If TB thought Rutta was worth close to that he'd be wearing blue and white with a lightning bolt already.

Tampa 24-25
TB can't afford Pesce would love to have him but not viable 21 man roster and almost no cap space or waiver exempt contracts you can paper transaction down to Cuse on off days to be able to accrue more cap space.. TB is definitely resigning Chaffee. Stacey Roest TB assistant GM and VP for player development was thrilled to be able to acquire Chaffee.

Please give one intelligent and rational explanation why Tampa Bay remotely considers that trade? TB counters David Edstrom for a 26 7th.. which is as realistic as the pile of manure proposed above

Next Year
TB management was more than ok with JoJo as the backup. No thanks on Rittich. I'll quote Brian Engblom quoting Jon Cooper." I asked Coop about Lilleberg and he said he's a player. By that he didn't mean NHL player which he already obviously is,but a really good one." So that's an easy pass on Edmundson.

So eone is lying because there is no chance TB is moving an 8 year deal at 6.5 of Hagel as a cap casualty . Stamkos is allowed to walk first. Whoever is "saying that is a mouth piece for a team that wants him.

Yeah there is no chance TB is trading Hagel he just put up 70 + keeps getting better is a top PK& 2ND PP GUY is extremely good defensively. Signed 8 years @a ridiculously cheap 6.5 million deal.

Going forward, he’s the most important player in the organization. I wouldn’t blink at signing him for anything at $9.5M or less.
I do think a lot of decisions this year were made with the intent to deliberately nerf his contract. Ghost signed for 1PP most notably.</div></div>
If he isn't getting 10 minimum he's a fool to sign more than 3-4 years

I think your under valuing. That's probably the team leaking it to keep it that low. Negotiating in the public a little. Yzerman has played real hard all over leaks before so, if something got out it's with his blessing.

I get that from management s POV, but from the players mine makes more sense 24,000,000 is I don't really have to work again if I don't want to money. So, get it on the three then go for the generational money on the next one.

I'm Seider I take that on a 3 year deal tell you to pound sand on 8 for that . The cap is going to rocket in three years he'll be worth 10.5-12 easily and is a fool if he goes that long that cheap.

Why the F*** would UTAH pay heavily to dump Kerfoot's contract? While retaining on it ? Absolutely delusional. So you get an asset for Mikeyev but Utah pays you a 3 and RFA rights to a better player on a cheaper contract they retain on to top it off . This may be the most absolutely homerish ACGM conversation n a long time
