Not terrible value but not sure that gets the Jackets to move him.

TB can't afford Pesce would love to have him but not viable 21 man roster and almost no cap space or waiver exempt contracts you can paper transaction down to Cuse on off days to be able to accrue more cap space.. TB is definitely resigning Chaffee. Stacey Roest TB assistant GM and VP for player development was thrilled to be able to acquire Chaffee.

CHI may take Sheary for future considerations, but I doubt they’d pay anything for him.

Really don't think Stamkos is going to leave that much money on the table. He's still playing at his usual level. Plus with the cap going up. He's going to get serious offers.

There will players of equal value to Sheary available for the NHL minimum in July, no reason for anyone to give up anything for him.

Nope. Sheary costs a 3rd to dump.

Sheary costs a 3rd to dump and Pesce isn't signing for that.

Lol with those expectations, you’re going to be disappointed this off-season.

Disappointed because the Hawks don't end up w/ Connor Sheary? I think both the Hawks and I will be just fine with that. Maybe you'd want him back in Pittsburgh for free?

No. Disappointed because the players that CHI may bring in won’t be coming with the picks or assets that you expect.

Based on GM Kyle from Chicago's end of season presser, it sounds like the days of taking on cap dumps might be over in Chicago. He wants the Hawks to take a step forward and be better. A guy like Sheary isn't helping w/ that. Honestly, if the Hawks took Sheary in a deal, they'd probably just buy him out. I actually don't think the Hawks make more than one off season deal. I expect them to target one or two top 6 caliber forwards in free agency who are willing to take a one or two year deal for big $$. Or make a trade to get a player like that with a year or two left from a team looking to create some cap space. Hawks roster is flush w/ guys to play in the bottom 6. They need to bolster their top 6.
