Why do you ppl take what other armchair GMs do on here so seriously...
I also think your roster is actually pretty realistic, everything looks good

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Juice</b></div><div>Agreed. This site is fun to just mess around with different scenarios. Anyone who comments 'this in unlikely' is really just wasting a post. Happy to debate value of proposed trades or fit of possible players in different lineups...but it'd be an absolute fluke for anyone to nail an exact trade...so let's just have fun with it.
Especially if you publish a lot of teams...it's more fun to get creative and explore different looks than to stick with 'realistic'.</div></div>
I totally agree, when I first discovered this website I was immediately hooked to making different unlikely rosters and I was making like 8 a day and all the posts I would get would be negative ones and people would take it to seriously, newsflash were not really GMs of out favourite teams but some of those guys only take it to seriously and just make fun of anything you post, especially people who tell me not to post anymore because my trade scenarios are to unrealistic,, those people need to find something better to do with there time

San Jose Sharks signed Evander Kane (7 Years / $7,000,000 AAV)
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>kaljakori</b></div><div>This. Of course, Kane is in the age where he has to get a big fat contract if he ever weants one, but that's a massive risk for the Sharks. Like you said they have the room, why not give the dude like 8,5M per for 3 years or something much less risky?</div></div>
Ya I would go short term with more money annually because he's not a consistent point getter and has only hit 30 goals once so it's to much risk for the team but I guess there mentality is he's better then anyone else they can get so they overpaid to keep him from going to free agency and not wasting the assets they gave up for him at the deadline, anyway the contract will look bad sooner then later

What about shorter term with more AAV maybe 4 years and 8 million since they have the cap room
Would anyone do this over 7x7

Ya if you read the previous comments from other rosters he was commenting on you would flip out to, I'm doing this for fun, what would you do if he kept following everything you did and commenting crappy stuff, read the other stuff he comments on and you will see, also the i was messaging with another member when you responded with that tough guy stuff, I wasn't even talking to you so why would you respond for no reason, I responded to your original comment appropriately but you butted into another conversation you were not apart of so you actually started it

How did Pittsburgh win with no defence the last two years
Literally guys who who had no experience and weren't good offensively or defensively, they were average at best and also look at teams like Nashville who have the best defence in the league from one to six and they haven't won the last 2 years, you can't have a perfect roster

Trust me your way doesn't work
How many teams in the last 5 years won the Stanley cup with all there draft picks and a bunch of prospects
Newsflash smart guy none of them do, you want them to save all there draft picks and win with there current roster and not trade for a lot more help, you can't have it both ways, other teams that have won make those sacrifices and they win

I understand but we had many prospects who show well in the minors over the years and haven't panned out, you don't get your only examples are 2 defenders who both struggled in the minors this year especially jones, bear showed a few flashes offensively by sucked defensively in the NHL, id rather trade them to get ready players, and to my point you referenced 2 players from the 2015 draft from 3 years ago who are still 3 years away so that's a total of 6 years minimum before they might become a full time nhl player and that's if everything else goes right and they even make it to the nhl, those are picks from 2015 also get your facts straight about the current drafting
Go over the last few drafts, 80% of the picks from 2016 already suck and even puljuarvi is struggling and there are over 10 players picked after him that are already better then him, they screwed up a 4th overall pick in a good draft, just saying this team needs players from other teams cause they can't develop there own
