it's not my fault if they are among the best. One of the good duo of the next years (like Backstrom-Ovechkin, Getzlaf-Perry etc..). But I took Caufield out, it's true he ain't good enough to be there yet
For Price he is the best goalkeeper of his generation. In addition he always had a rather mediocre or just passable team in front of him. I'm just going to put him on the injured list.
You wanted me to add Kyrou, Tarasenko and O'Reilly? For me, O'Reilly is the closest but Suzuki is the same kind of player and he surpassed him.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>mv21227</b></div><div>Caufield, Suzuki, Price, Jones and Oettinger belong nowhere near this. Price is washed, Jones isn’t a superstar (although I think he’s a little underrated on this site, but not a top 10 dman) and the other three haven’t proven nearly enough yet. Not sure if I’d put Seider yet also</div></div>
Caufield have the best shot from the league and one of the most spectacular. I hesitated between him and Alex Debrincat. but Caufield is a bit better in my opinion. But I took Caufield out, it's true he ain't good enough to be there yet
Suzuki is the fourteenth on the attack. he is excellent in defense more than any other star player of his caliber.
Price is the best goalie. That it. I just forgot to put him on the long-term injured list.
For Jones. Yes is one of best in NHL. the best are not always stars, sometimes they are just effective (Bergeron, Suzuki, O'Reilly, Stone etc..)
Oettinger is incredible but Vasilevski is very close. but he always had a good club in front of him.

Having Ghule Tanev and Grans to defend properly our d-zone with Savard too, in a lesser role, can add to our d-core. We need to look at what we build, not what we pay.</div></div>
I understand, we just don't have the same way of seeing this team.

Seen like that, it's an accelerated reconstruction. It's true that the winner's culture settles there more quickly like that. We pay too much in the long term, but in the short and medium term to win right away it's a very good exchange.

We must compare the first 3 years of J.T Miller to those of Dach and not the season at 28 year old.

Time will tell for sure but his potential is higher and also he is 8 years younger. His contract is a bargain for 4 years, when it's over Dach will be 25 and Miller 33. JT.Miller and his contract 6M/Year end: 36 Year Old

The first trade is an error. Kirby Dach will better than J.T Miller and is younger (21 year vs 29 Year). Giving Dvorak is fine but we can get a 3rd round pick. The first-round choice is really too much.
you might be surprised what you could get in return. it is a power ally that attracts attention with very good speed. it is a rarity.
Then you give Rem Pitlick which is one of the best contracts in the national league.

It has surely never happened that contracts have been released, to welcome other Players
Oh no, that never happened. 😑

Norlinder is a excellent Prospect
Dvorak for 2.5 M per year it's great.
First Round in a great 2023 Draft
In addition Pierre Luc Dubois does not seem to want to stay in Winnipeg and he only has one year of contract left, the team could well lose him for nothing.

Mad take but its interesting
The Red Wings will accept immediately, they would even think it would be a joke. Slafkovsky will be a first-line player, and in 3 or 4 years. The Red Wings best player. He also has a unique character revealing a possible candidate for the Conn.Smith Trophy on a winning team.
People seem to underestimate him as he only has 1 goal in his first 5 games *The guy is 18 and away from his family and his home country in the hottest market in the NHL* , but we have a great player on our hands (not exceptional, but close) I expect slow production as in the case of Alexis Lafreniere, however he is going to be a better player.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>mokumboi</b></div><div>You do know that other teams also must adhere to the cap, right?</div></div>
The other teams would also trade and release wages. I'm going there with trade proposals that would be logical and effective for the other teams in the league. I'm not going with the cap because anyway it will be very different at the trade deadline and even more so after the season. There are also several injuries.
If I would have done it as a representative of all 32 teams at the same time. I would have taken the liberty of looking at every little detail for all the tearms.
When you look at a team like the Edmonton Oilers. They can very well trade a player like Tyson Barrie to a team that lacks offensive punch at the back or a player like Kailer Yamamoto. Matheson would bring some stability in defense in addition to being very good offensively.

How Winnipeg views the value of their player Part one
Suzuki is better than PLD
His attitude is better and he's a team guy.
Suzuki has the potential to be a 90+ point player in addition to a possible Selke Trophy winner.
