You do know that other teams also must adhere to the cap, right?

The other teams would also trade and release wages. I'm going there with trade proposals that would be logical and effective for the other teams in the league. I'm not going with the cap because anyway it will be very different at the trade deadline and even more so after the season. There are also several injuries.

If I would have done it as a representative of all 32 teams at the same time. I would have taken the liberty of looking at every little detail for all the tearms.

When you look at a team like the Edmonton Oilers. They can very well trade a player like Tyson Barrie to a team that lacks offensive punch at the back or a player like Kailer Yamamoto. Matheson would bring some stability in defense in addition to being very good offensively.

Nobody is going 4-5M over the cap during the season, and then hoping to make a trade without any leverage to shed cap.

Norlinder is a excellent Prospect
Dvorak for 2.5 M per year it's great.
First Round in a great 2023 Draft

In addition Pierre Luc Dubois does not seem to want to stay in Winnipeg and he only has one year of contract left, the team could well lose him for nothing.

It has surely never happened that contracts have been released, to welcome other Players

Oh no, that never happened. 😑

Norlinder is yet another Ld which we are flush with. Barron would be of interest or maybe Mailloux and make the pick the earliest of the FLA/Wash obviously lotto protected.
I like Dvorak and am not discounting Norlinder or the value of the 1st, I just think Chevy can make a trade that better suits our needs, a Potential T4 RD and T6C as the main return with picks or b/c prospect(s) to balance.

Uhhh what? You can't just vanish a one-way contract.

Oops yes that was a mistake. I thought I sent Hoffman to Nashville for their lack of power play
