Awful for Toronto. St. Louis adds 2 first rounders at the very least.

I agree. Tarasenko was a poorly-timed signing in my opinion, Pinto takes priority and then work with the cap you have left

Fail comment. Brannstrom is very underrated defensively and simply doesn't have a shot behind Chabot/Sanderson on the left side in Ottawa. Now, since Edmonton clearly doesn't have any defensemen of Brannstrom's caliber, I figured they could use the help

Another I'm not going to look at or care about what other teams needs/situation post. Pretty much none of these are good situations for teams not named Montreal.
Monahan makes little to no sense for Colorado.
Savard same for CBJ . Dvorak same again for VGK. Maybe DeSmith to St.Louis ,but that's a stretch IMO. And I already stated TBs POV</div></div>
FYI this is 2024-25, this trade is the following offseason. You aren't going to like having Johansson as a backup, trust me.

He's not a good pickup for the Avs, but someone will trade for him in that sort of deal if he's any good this season.</div></div>
They CAN afford him, especially at a 50% retention. He was well on his way to fetching a good package at the deadline last year but injury occurred. Was producing at a 55-point clip and should get a similar chance this upcoming season.

Fair enough, insert Team X then as the recipient of David Savard at the deadline for a 4th round pick.

Krebs for two 2nds is fair value in my opinion. I would like to keep him around as well, but this was more looking for a spot for Kulich. I don't mind keeping him in the A for another year

Deadline moves
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Waffelz</b></div><div>The Sharks do all of these, but no chance anyone (except maybe the Duclair one) are reasonable for the other team. Labanc has next to no value even with retention, Barabonov is worth a 2nd + something small, Kahkonnen+Lindblom have negative value, and Hoffman isn't really worth anything either.</div></div>
Terrible take.
Labanc is still a middle-6 winger with offensive upside, at 50% retention it makes him a lot closer to his market value (even below it).
Barabanov is a steal at his salary even without any retention and can easily slot into any team's top-6 at any role. A Hyman-type player.
No **** that Lindblom + Kahkonen have negative value, but that's kind of the point here (to offset Campbell salary for at least 1 season).
Hoffman isn't really worth nothing which is why I put him as being moved for a 7th.

3rd stringer I'd imagine a younger goaltender will be placed in order to give them the learning opportunity, so no for me on Kuemper. I'm not a Hill fan either. Yes on Levi, him or Cossa are my 3rd choice
