I would accept that offer as the Anaheim GM and give you something, of course.

Yeah, the sabres will take mrazek off your hands for just Robertson, you can keep muzzin and trade him elsewhere

Muzzin might be worth a third with that cap hit. Doesn’t have a ton of value.

Lmfao. That sabres trade isnt even remotely close of a trade being accepted in nhl22

I like the Mantha-Yamamoto deal for both sides. Maybe a 2nd instead of a 3rd? This is nitpicky but I’d rather have Kesselring than Niemelainen even though Niemelainen’s slightly more hyped than Kesselring because the Caps have plenty of LHD prospect depth but they definitely need more RHD.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>KeepUps15</b></div><div>all 4 of our superstars kinda of play the same role so putting any 3 on the same line probably won't work.</div></div>
Not remotely correct. Marner is a playmaker, Matthews a shooter and in this case Nylander would weave around finding soft spots which would make it so hard to defend.

playoff build team
Your 3rd line could forecheck teams into the ground. Had to look on youtube to see why Crouse was getting a lot of attention. He would be exactly what the leafs need, some sandpaper and a pest in the bottom 6. Ritchie, Simmonds and Crouse. When you know there are guys that will protect you, players grow 2 inches and gain 10 pounds. Toughness makes everyone a little tougher

surrounding crosby for another cup run
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Radu47</b></div><div>Khudobin was dead average (.917sv%) during that playoff run so he really didn't contribute too much to it at the end of the day: nothing special at all
I watched the entire COL / TB series
He'll be 36 when the next playoffs start
He was mediocre last season
Jarry is in prime and a better goalie so... I don't know why people here resort to old school gm mentality type notions</div></div>
That’s debatable.
He was average during the Calgary series, great during the Colorado one, god mode during the Vegas one, and god awful during the Tampa one.
I can agree that Dobby had a rough season last year, but you can’t deny the fact that he can be a terribly clutch at times.

playoff push
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Zmach</b></div><div>I think that that trade minus mcleod would be fair value. Edmonton has struggled for like 5 Years to internally develop a 3C. I doubt they part with mcleod especially given he is cast in the big fast mold they are trying to build around.</div></div>
I see Holloway becoming the 3c by deadline. He’s known to be good at draws has strong speed and considering the depth added to lw this offseason 3c is the only really questionable spot in the top nine don’t see him getting the call up to cover 4th line minutes. I think early on Mcloed will be given plenty of opportunity but it’s on him to make the most of it.

I think could expect similar results as kosk right off the hop but has more room for improvement than kosk. Given the opportunity to bring in someone that can grow with the team but has experience can’t be completely dismissed. I love a lot of the traits smith brings and while he’s still capable of playing at a high level it would be very beneficial to have the next guy in line around him as much as possible ideally it would come from internal options but the win now complicates that becomes risky bet to count on skinner or whoever due to lack of experience. I think going into the season things will stay as they are but mid season I could certainly see something like this happening. Far from being my top choice but isn’t the worst option.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>AntreDiAnaheim</b></div><div>Having Ritchie on the first line with Matthews and Marner is a massive mistake.</div></div>
the thought behind it was giving them a physical force that will essentially open ice up for both of them and making other teams hesitant to hit them, similar to tom wilson

taking a different approach on team canada
Agreed. On a team like this, the line you're on doesn't matter, any one of these is an elite first line. No team apart from the US can match that kind of depth, and even at that Canada is leaps and bounds better.

Rielly can't be on the top either he has no slapshot so teams don't ever play him for a one timer. All these years in the league and he hasn't developed even a average slapshot that tells me he has no will to improve.

idk bout this
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>vikhodush</b></div><div>I would do this trade from a Canes perspective - we don't need C's but it seems like Hertl can play wing just as effectively and can step in as a C situationally or if injuries arise, can never have too many C's imo.
This also serves as leverage / insurance with Troch. Canes would hopefully re-sign one of them and I'd be fine with it being either one.</div></div>
Sharks could use the prospects to bolster Eklund and Bordeleau and Suzuki and Heimosalmi are both pretty excellent. This is only the 2nd good Hertl trade I have seen on here.
