Yeah and i dont mind that especially because Panarin seems to be taking a mentoring role for Kravy and i still think that 3rd line will get playing time. That being said by the end pf the seasom i fully expect Laf to be in the top 6

Wait never mind this is the actual all star team projection and they’re injured to start the year so they wouldn’t be here

This seems like a very realistic trade. Everyone seems to be inflating Lundkvist's value but I think you nailed it. Rangers are said to be looking for a centre prospect with some upside.

Leafs don’t have to trade Sandin?
The Rangers need to trade Lundqvist a lot more then the Leafs need to trade Sandin

In terms of trade value. Sandin is the same age as Lundkvist and more established as an NHL d man

Players who are just like medisappointments
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Forbesy</b></div><div>Yeah I kinda agree with kakko also, I'm giving him a pass for last year, he had a string of injuries that held him back, and he had a horrible start to the season points wise. I fully expect a 40-50 point season . If he doesn't step up then I'm gunna be worried. It's his 4th year, its time</div></div>
If he fails to score more then 30 points this season he’s a bust but I hope that doesn’t happen and he does like you said a 40-50 point season

Man This Is Tough
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Shakabakes</b></div><div>Less for Kravtsov.
Probably a little more for Miller (and maybe Lafreniere).
Chytil will be worth more, but he'll be traded in the Offseason. The signing of Trocheck sealed his fate. They don't view him as a 2C. He'll be moved for Picks or Prospects, and a more affordable 3C will be brought in.</div></div>
Sadly I think you're right. I'm fully expecting a package of Chytil Lundkvist and picks to head to Vancouver for Miller, or to Chicago for Kane.

probably not playoff team
The only thing, the ONLY thing I think would make the Rangers even worry about not being a playoff team is Shesty getting hurt in Oct/Nov and out for six months. He is THAT important to them in my mind, but he is what seperates a good team from a great team. Just being good might not be good enough.

Basically All Set
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Shakabakes</b></div><div>Lafreniere is easily better than Kravtsov, at this stage. I just feel having Kravtsov play off of Kreider and Zibenejad (who already have terrific chemistry) while Lafreniere stays with the Kid Line (who finally showed chemistry in the Playoffs), and then matching Panarin's skillset with a physical player like Blais, gives some better balance to all 3 Lines.
I understand it might not turn out that way. I just feel like it gives you 3 solid lines (as opposed to 2 great ones and one "ehhh" one).</div></div>
Could work out that way, but I'm still not convinced Kravstov will make the team or not be traded prior to the season. And since he has done nothing to justify getting top 6 minutes, while Laffy has, I can't see Gallant slotting him in there.

Final Roster after cuts
I thought Holtz would make the team, but I understand why he didn’t.
1st AHL minutes is probably better for his development than bottom 6 NHL minutes.
Devils are my playoff dark horse, and very quickly became one of my favourite teams.

I like the team. Holtz making the team is a little disappointing but it makes sense. Rather him tear up the AHL than play 3rd line minutes. I also don't understand how Geertsen and White made it over Bahl.

Putting Kreider on the right wing meant Kravtsov was always going to be in the "bottom 6" VK is only in Hartford until they move/waive Hajek and they'll do so by the end of game 1

I think it’s fair to say that the Rangers probably would rather have Wahlstrom and Farabee right now. Big year for him this season though.
