<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Dekes</b></div><div>talk about overvaluing kakko never had franchise winger potential not once lol the 2019 draft was based all around hughes and then their was everyone else.

kakko has yet to once shown any glimpse of 2OA draft potential in his career
funny how you say debrusk hit lightening in a bottle because in his 5 yr career debrusk has been on pace to hit 50+ points twice in his career and 45+ 4 times in his career only one season was he not on pace to not produce at over .5ppg. just want to point out in Kakko's 157 game career he has 58 points debrusk had 58 points in his first 95 career games.

not only is debrusk better offensively but he is more physical he is better defensively hence the reason he plays on the PK now, debrusk is the all-around better player.

kakko at this point looks like a career 3rd line i was being generous saying he would be better then that, i don't know if you remember but analytically kakko was the overall worst player in the league his first 2 seasons in the league, not to mention he got scratched game 6 against tampa and how many times before that lol.

kakko won't be returning anything crazy for NYR unless he proves he should which he hasn't.

another little fun fact in kakko's career 157 games he has 26 goals, debrusk had 25 just this season.</div></div>

Debrusk had 14 points last year. He got pp minutes and the highest shooting percentage of his career. Lightning in a bottle . Your going to compare him to kakko who has franchise potential? Watch the guy play he just hasn’t been putting the puck in the net. And your pulling up stats from his first nhl season lmao. If your not willing to infuse young talent into your roster than this decade is going to be a long one. Plenty of more first round exits to come!
