Poor guy gets into the lineup after not having played in like 3 months after a couple of injuries and somehow ends up in our top 4. Not his fault that he's imperfect given the situations they put him in</div></div> Don’t forget my guy scored a beauty last year, easily the best defensemen on the leafs, I would be disappointed if he doesn’t retire in Toronto.

I realize how good he is....... that's why i'm trying to get him. But Johnsson is no push over, he could potentially have a 20-30 goal season playing alongside McJesus.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>themostleaf33</b></div><div>Khaira has no value so just take him out of the trade and keep the 3rd. The leafs don't need him anyway they have enough 4th liners already.
The Minnesota trade is interesting I guess but we don't need another 1B when we have Campbell. Just try to do Kerfoot for Greenway as that is a trade that helps both teams imo.</div></div>
The main point of the Khaira trade is to move cap, and who knows he may thrive in Toronto. It's a low risk trade with a potential upside, maybe you can even try to get Edmonton to retain a little bit of his contract allowing for some trade deadline moves.
The Wild trade is good for both teams but again it's is a low risk move where Toronto is saving cap space. Also I liked getting Stalock because he's signed for 2 years on a extremely cheap deal, so best case scenario (I know its a long shot) if Campbell and/or Stalock step up Anderson could be moved at the trade deadline.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>newballcoach</b></div><div>I don't think Minny wants to move Stalock. I think Kerfoot for Greenway is a close 1-for-1 so I wouldn't want to add too much from Toronto's side.
I would try to squeeze Rodrigues a little bit more as an RFA. I'd also rather sign someone like Johan Larsson or Trevor Lewis than have Khaira on the 4th line. Sandin obviously wouldn't be a scratch, if he's doesn't win a starting job (which is fine) he's in the AHL and either Marincin or Rosen is in that spot.
I would love Tanev at that caphit and term. Not sure how realistic it is.</div></div>
I agree, putting more pressure on Rodrigues and/or Greenway (Both RFAs) would allow more cap space to offer Tanev a better deal (4.5-4.75Mil).

As the title says it's testing. I mainly wanted an opinion on how much the Wild value Greenway and Stalock, but based on the feedback so far the 2nd will probably be dropped or atleast changed to a 3rd-5th.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>deys3232</b></div><div>Dermott is a lot better than Mayfield</div></div>
I agree that Dermott is better offensively, but Toronto would be trading for Mayfield's defensive capabilities, size and affordable long term deal. Also he's a Top-4 RHD, which Toronto is in desperate need of.

Good point, But that's exactly why I think he'd be a good fit in Toronto. What about changing the 4th to a 2nd or adding a prospect like Timmothy Liljegren and getting a few late round picks back?

What would it cost? Mayfield is underrated but I don't think he'd be worth much more.

Cap Hell
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>joshelkin</b></div><div>I don't think the Isles would entertain Pulock to be honest. He was by far our best defenseman this season and looked way more comfortable defensively (his biggest weakness in the past). He just needs to continue working on firing his cannon of a shot on target. The top 3 Islanders this season with shot attempts were all our RHD (Pulock/Boychuk/Mayfield) - this is Trotz's system at work.
I think Mayfield is closer to a top-4 than a top-6. There was a stretch last year where he was our leading point scorer. Definitely stronger defensively as opposed to offense but he isn't a slouch.</div></div>
Good point and hes got a pretty good contract anyways.

Actually not a bad idea, but if the Pulock trade went through what would you think cause Toronto really needs top 4 Defenseman not a bottom 6. But Ho-Sang is over due for a change of scenery.
