The issue with the Flyers wasn't really goaltending. It was the fact that Provorov, and Sanheim (part Time) were the only 2 d-men that actually showed up to play on most nights. Again, not saying Raanata wouldn't be an improvement; just that our dollars in a flat cap year are better spent elsewhere.</div></div>
Well yeah but I just dont think that goalie tandem can take the Flyers deep at all, check my page I posted a Flyers one.

I wouldnt say great, it was a lot of older guys, also Compher only has 2 years left, if he doesnt work or does well you could always flip him

Well I got them moving a lot of those contracts like Loui Beagle and Rousell. that right there is 12MIL freed up plus you could prolly get the Kraken to take Holtby and they will prolly buy out Virtanen so thats another MIL freed up. and yeah i could see a bit more money retained

2. I think the Hawks want him on the roster
3. Detroit doesn't need more depth guys, we have too many of those as it is. So, yes, hard pass on Compher. He's just not a fit.
4. Why would Detroit "give" anything? Those are cap dumps that we don't want or need. If we take them, it will be for assets in, not assets out.
5. Big, slow defensemen are useless in today's game. Speed wins.
6. By a LOT. Close to, or more than 1m a piece on Bertuzzi and Vrana and probably at least 500k or more on Bernier and Hronek.</div></div>
1. I could see that one
2. The are trying to move him, they are even thinking about leaving him unprotected, I dont think we see him with the hawks next year.
3. I mean true but the depth sucks
4. They got a first round pick and a 3rd for the contracts and u do it cuz u have the cap, all u gave up was to late round picks and a older forward
5. I mean true but as a 2nd pair in the future he rlly isnt that bad
6. yeah i could see that

Wisdom tore up the minors last year and has a great upside, so he's not getting packaged off. We also need to invest huge dollars in a right side defenseman, so we're definitely not throwing 4.5 mill at a goalie.</div></div>
Well theyd have to pay a goalie if they want to win cuz Hart cant start 60 rn.. and I can do the Flyers if you want, they can make it work to get a dman and have a solid goalie cuz they gotta win now this core is older, you could replace the prospect, I just put one on

He's essentially buy low and flip at the deadline for a team like Detroit, not a cap dump.</div></div>
Well they gotta resign some key people and I think they could easily replace Leddy in fa or trade, Ik they do give up a pick, but they get 2 back

Red Wings offseason
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>DeadWingsv2</b></div><div>- If they don't protect Stetcher, that will be a significant mistake.
- Chicago probably isn't giving up Strome for that return
- Hard pass on Compher
- The Vancouver trade is all kinds of wrong, especially since Bobby Ryan is a free agent and sign and trades are not a thing.
- Islanders trade, sure
- Not offer sheeting Zadorov, just not gonna happen
- Bertuzzi and Vrana will get more, probably Bernier and Hronek too</div></div>
1. I had them protecting there younger d men (Hornek Cholowski Lindstrom)
2.I think the Hawks would just because they want hime gone, dont really need him anymore, and the red wings 2nd will be a good pick
3. I wouldnt say "hard pass on Compher" yeah he makes a bit, but its for like 2 years, and hes a very solid and underrated depth option that can play center and wing and a good 2 way that can give some points
4.With the Canucks one, ig ur right on the Ryan thing but I was just giving them a roster player back, you could give them Namestnikov it wouldnt rlly matter
5. I mean ig ur right on the Zadorov but I just thought it was a good fit, the Red Wings like bug defensive defenseman and hes still young and has shown potential
6. and how much more you think? I mean I could probably see 100-500k

His value is not that high, I doubt we get Eichel cuz the Sabers want a lot and I dont think we should or will give up Dach or Boqvist which would be the main players. The Hawks are a young team that are letting the young gus=ys play, we have a bunch of young talent coming up and we just dont really need Strome.
