Oilers 23
Looks like another tough year to be an oilers fan.. If they can get rid of Kassian that's their best bet but I highly doubt anyone will take him. Also mark my words "Nurse ruined oilers nation chance at winning a cup" unbelievably selfish for a guy who is maybe a top 25 d in the league to demand that kind of cash. Give your head a shake Ken.

Habs pick Slaf
After seeing so many Petry trades clearly slanted towards Montreal, I love to see what you've proposed here. That being said, as much as I love the value you have for him here, he'll fetch more than a 4th & a 5th, IMO

Lilj back
I doubt Jacket's fans dislike this trade, like you say, but I can tell it's probably in the Jackets favor. I do see these players being available from the Jackets this offseason, but it probably is in packages to take on D-prospects and 2nd to 5th round picks to alleviate the bubble of bottom 6 players to make room for other young guys to come in. As a Jackets fan, I think Stenlund is a criminally underrated power forward center, Bemstrom is the unluckiest guy on the roster (I think he hit the most posts this season for CBJ + his injury history is rough), and I hope Korpisalo will turn it around after his surgeries this year.
The Leafs could probably get away with not sending the 2nd. Kerfoot really adds to the "too many middle 6 forwards" problem that Columbus has. I think a line of Kerfoot, Voracek, and Laine could be really fun to watch next year. Is Kerfoot more of a salary dump player at this point for the Leafs?
IDK. I kind of like the meat of the trade but the smaller assets could use more fine tuning. What would really make this trade make more sense to me is if a third team came in and took on Kerfoot, and a couple of those picks, and the Jackets walk away with a RHD after unloading their forward bubble. Maybe the Jackets retain 50% of the Kerfoot contract and send the 12 and this is just part of a three way blockbuster that gets Chychrun out of Arizona and Toronot can keep Der-Arguchintsev. I think Columbus would owe Toronto more, but I think it would come in the form of salary retainage or picks, but I really don't know what Toronto needs.

If the leafs kept Kadri 2022
I think Kadri would've been the 2C over Tavares, especially this season.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>willdog37</b></div><div>That's not even close for Puljujarvi, trade value or contract wise</div></div>
The value is about right if they are willing to gamble on Kase's health assuming they actually want him. Anderson is in there because Puljujarvi is younger but the trade here is assuming Kase signs for less in Edm than what Puljujarvi does in Edm.
It is possible that both guys would sign for less on a one year contract on their new team

Edmonton, and Tampa both have to retain 50% on those deals to make this fair. Possibly get them to give you a few firsts too!

EDM can probably retain. Add a '23 and '24 7th rd and I think Montreal do it. Well done!
