NHL Signings

Thread:
Detroit Red Wings signed Axel Sandin Pellikka (3 Years / $1,450,000 AAV)
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>HockeyScotty</b></div><div>The sooner he gets to the NHL, the sooner Seider can be used more effectively and the team's overall defensive production will improve.
The left side of the future is pretty much: Edvinsson, Walman, Wallinder/Johansson they really need ASP to become a 2nd pair staple as soon as possible.</div></div>
One more year for ASP to gain muscle and elevate his overall game and good luck he might be NHL ready.
I have also have fingers crossed for Andrew Gibson to make it NHL eventually.
He could be a beast!

Kane Tavares Carrier Blueger
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>klassic</b></div><div>He makes 4M, hasn't played a full season ever. At least a 3rd. But the Hawks do need more mid round picks. They would rather package picks to trade up and just over pay a UFA for 1-2 years.</div></div>
Thank you for the answer!
There too much answers just: No
He is very very good player when he is healthy.
Sadly broken too much.
Starting his last contract year, so next season will be very big for his whole future career in NHL.
He will be motivated, but the injuries are real fear.

We have King Larkin, so he just have to motivate himself😅

Kane Tavares Carrier Blueger
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>DanielSan92</b></div><div>There really is no "Right price". Whatever cap space we have after signing Seider and Raymond (and hopefully Kane) should be used shoring up the RHD.
Not to mention the dude is a ****ing ghost come playoff time. 24 points in 38 games and -9 in Toronto.</div></div>
The whole Toronto is ghost come playoff time😅
Just thinking if it seems that Detroit isn't making playoffs at trade deadline, they could easily trade him and retain 50% of Tavares contract and get late 1st rounder + prospect.
But yeah, good RHD would be great, but there aren't many that wouldn't cost princess and half the kingdom.

Kane Tavares Carrier Blueger
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>DanielSan92</b></div><div>So Detroit trades a 2nd for a rental and then trades prospects and picks to dump cap to keep that rental...
And that rental has led his current team to zero success lol.</div></div>
What would be the right price for Tavares trade if it happened?
And there are many players who have found success and won the the cup when they have left the cursed Toronto.
There is only one prospect and Detroit will soon find it self in situtation where they have too many prospects.
Do you think Detroit should just keep Määttä, Fabbri and Holl until their contracts end?

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>YeahRighttt</b></div><div>A 7th isn’t enough to get the Hawks to take Fabbri. Kane supposedly want term in his next contract, if true 2 years doesn’t cut it.</div></div>
If 7th is not enough, what would be enough?
Yeah, there are rumours about this and that, but I just put contract straight from Servalli's list.
If Kane liked playing in Detroit, I think Yzerman can armwrestle those terms or even better for Detroit point of view.
It seemed DeBrincat's and Kane's families were pretty close and Detroit looked good fit for him many other ways too.
If he wants to compete for the cup or go back to Chicago, Detroit is out of the race.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SupremeBone</b></div><div>Well, I won't argue too much in that case, but there are some WILD takes in there.
Zucker getting 5.4 * 3
Gustafsson getting 5 *3
Debrusk getting 6 * 5
Trenin getting 3.3 * 3
Monahan only getting 2.9 * 3
Even if the numbers are based on predictions from January, that's a lot of cause to take their numbers with a big helping of salt.</div></div>
Yeah. That's true. Some of them are pretty wild😅

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SupremeBone</b></div><div>I'm quite certain that Carrier will get a better offer than that. Likely upwards of 3.5 to 3.75mil with some term (4-5 years) if I were to guess. Could be wrong but he was pretty in-demand around the deadline which suggests he'll have suitors.</div></div>
Just went on what Frank Servalli wrote.

Trade Machine Proposals

Thread:
Sturm - Veleno
Sturm would be perfect fit for Detroits 4th line.
Big reliable center who wins faceoffs.
2M cap hit this and next season would be perfect to give Kasper one more year in AHL.
Veleno is very promising player, but haven't really found his place in the team. San Jose would get 4 years younger NHL ready player for their re-build.

Thread:
Kakko lt-gt Perron Berggren
Why is that?
Too much for Kakko or no reason to trade Perron if Red Wings are trying to push for playoff spot this year?
Is Berggren going to be trade piece if Red Wings are trying to get Hanifin?
