Could this happen
Rangers can’t afford another big contract on the books. And there is no chance they give up that for a rental. If that’s the price, he’s gonna go to another team.

I'd rather just keep Sissons-- younger, cheaper, less term.
NSH isn't trading Lauzon for a 3rd only a few months after they traded a 2nd to get him.
I don't think NSH needs to bring back Cousins. I'd be open to Lyubushkin, though I think he'll get more (either term or $$).

No, with all due respect, Minnesota wouldn't take this . Minnesota already has 8 good d under contract, and isn't taking on cap dump of Justin holl.

all i can picture in my head with that first trade is the Mad Money guy smashing a big button that says "MIKE REILLY STOCK: DOWN!!!"
I think you're selling short on Grz/Nosek and honestly wouldn't the Isles sending out their late 2nd for that package instead. Nosek is buriable/flippable in his walk year, and I think Grz would be a solid LD2 paired with Dobson.
Foligno to the Wild is tough if only because they're in such a tight cap crunch next season and need every dollar they can get their hands on. It'll cost a little more to buy him out, but I think that's the easiest move to get his money off your cap.

I think the Jackets accept that. Minny gets cap relief and the Jackets get a RHD to pair with Werenski.

TBL 22-23 moving Serg and other moves
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>KPM12</b></div><div>I think Roy is the most complete defenseman of the three (at least at this point in time) so that attracts Tampa the most. I know Tampa's analytics and pro scouting departments preach value contracts. While Roy is definitely worth his pay, Having Spence u1M for 2 more seasons could be attractive to them.</div></div>
Spence would be good from the analytics pov, but for whatever reason Tampa under Yzerman/Brisebois almost never draft or trade for dmen under 6 feet and on the smaller(under ~190ish). While Spence looks to have a bright future, not sure if Tampa goes for him given this(Spence is like 5'9 or 5'10, 175). Maybe Tampa looks past it given his metrics and contract hit. Durzi could be an option depending on whether Tampa could.sign him to a new contract that works. I still believe they could get Roy, and I've had far more ppl(both Kings fans and neutrals) tell me they'd do Roy, Chromiak and 18oa for Serg+mid round pick or B prospect than those who have said no, so I think it's definitely a trade that could work for both sides.

We'll be looking for young (under 26) defensemen for the long term or else cheap veterans for bottom-pairing duty. Muzzin doesn't fit either category.

TBL 22-23 moving Serg and other moves
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>KPM12</b></div><div>The lightning don’t have to move sergachev but LAK as a trade partner feels as a win-win for both sides as tampa lacks RD and LAK has a surplus on RD and lack LD. roy probably is the guy Tampa needs, or they consider offers with spence or durzi instead.</div></div>
Agreed. Knowing how Tampa targets their defenseman, I don't see Spence or Durzi being one that they go for in a potential Serg trade. They each have value but between not being the type of dman Tampa usually goes for, and with still more limited NHL experience, I feel Roy is the most likely to be acquired.

Wings probably won't be moving down. They had 23 picks over rounds 1-3 in the last 4 year picks.
They're going to be running into the 50 contract limit soon when these guys start their pro careers.

Bruins 2022-23
The Bruins controlled the play more with Grzelcyk than without him on the ice in the past two playoffs at 5v5 (while he was forced into a bigger role due to Carlo/Lindholm's injuries). It's one thing to not want to match him against 6' 3"+ players, another one to say "he cost the series" which is wrong.
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Ffmorgan09</b></div><div>We don’t like him costing us games so let’s expect a rebuilding Detroit team to give a 2nd round pick for a bottem pairing defenseman at best. I think saying Detroit declines is an understatement 😂</div></div>
Red Wings not wanting to add a player like Grzelcyk at this point in their rebuild makes sense but he isn't a 3rd pair D, he's a 2nd pair LD (something the Red Wings don't have).

Probably a no from BUF. Iafallo and Asplund profile similarly but Asplund's results are better in terms of the analytics.
