You're over the cap by quite a bit.</div></div>
I know he is not a Center but Savoie and Cooley is so was more the third line role for the drafted player that was the point.
There is 6 extra players in the lineup, was more to show the depth underneath, more then the actuall cap space

I was more for reason to get the three guys in, He is a LW but Cooley and Savoie is C so, but I think all of them should get the chance in a third line if drafted

How can You lose 9-2
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Hammerwise</b></div><div>Its not a hard concept, look at the box score. When you partner a bunch of AHL guys like Connaughton (-5 in less than 14 minutes), Hodgson, Brown with a bunch of rookies in their first trip to the NHL (Attard -5, Brink, York), a bunch of other guest appearances from AHLers (Willman types) and then throw in that none of the team is playing for anything and guys like McEwen, Thompson are being overplayed, and you want to lose….And then add in you’re playing a top team that’s on a roll, you get 9-2.
I never say that plus/minus is a great stat but it’s a good indicator of effort and talent on the ice when you look at ice time too. For example last night, the flyers 3rd pairing (Connaughton-Attard both were -5 in less than 15 mins) and 4th line (Thompson-Brown were -4 in less than 14 mins). That shows that they are poor in talent or in Attard’s case not ready to just partner with any scrub.
I think Provorov and Koneckny are worth more. No point in selling low.
And while hes having an awesome year, I'd rather have two very good (moveable contracts if need be) at 10mil, than Gaudreau at 10mil. This team has some good youth coming in, but one single all-star isn;t the difference.</div></div>
I like what's coming up from the ranks, but Johnny is a Flyers fan and a Ufa I think that making that signing is great for the organisation and 10 mil is a bit steep, but I think he will be worth it, and of course if can you get him for less I think its no brainer. And in the Draft you should go for the best available forward prospect Wright, Slaf, Cooley and Savoie depending who is left.
What do you think Provorov and TK is worth in a package deal?

And besides Hart flyers have the Russian olympic goalie in their ranks, he has had the best GAA average in the Gagarin cup history he has a 1.68 GAA in 15 games. him giving Hart some health competition next season with no yandle infront of them next season is gonna be massive

Bobby Brink should get a chance to fight for a opening night spot on that right side and I think Chuck should stop signing washed up goalies to back up Carter Hart. We have 4 guys in the organisation and one of them got to be able to do a backup job in the NHL. Fedotov who starts for Russia in the Olympics (which means he is the best goalie in the KHL) shoutout both games. And the young Russian goalie Ustimenko. and the two Swedish former Brynas goalies Sandstrom and Ersson have showed promise. otherwise the team looks great

muzzin and rielly are doubtafully better but Dermott and Sandin are not, Sandin got a top 2 or top 4 potencial for sure
and maybe you are missing the fact that ghost played one game vs Tampa and had the same amount of points(2) as those four players put together had on 5 games. (Sandin was schrated and muzzin only played two but the fact still remains.
and maybe if they had him on the back end the flyers the would not be the only ones left in the bubble

Johansson is an good experienced player who can be a good player and rolemodel for anaheims rebuild and with Gibson as the starter I don't see the need for stolartz, Hutton can be a good backup for a year or two, until guys like Eriksson ek could take the back up job.

Van Riemdsyk Couturier Giroux
Lindblom Hayes Voracek
Konecny Frost Patrick
Raffl Laughton Reaves</div></div>
I think Farabee will make it on the wing before frost because of the fact that Patrick is a center that can play a 200 foot game and dont forget he´s just 20 years old. Just look at Mackinnon he took a couple of years to become the player that was expected of him and now he is arguably the second or third best center in the game.
And for the 2020-2021 season we need to get rid off either JVR, Hayes or Voracek. cause Patrick lindblom and Myers need new contracts.

Thread:
Push for lord stanley
This is a contending team for sure and i think that its up too the goalies many might forget Hart is just 20 years old. So split the games 50/50 or 60/40 in regular season between Hart and Elliot then give Hart the starting job in the playoffs. But i dont see this as a stanley cup winning team. I see this year as a prepartion year to for the young guys to get that playoff experience for next year then we can have a goalie tandem of Hart/Sandström or Hart/ustimenko depends how steps up for the phantoms this year. And thats the year to go all out for the cup.
Frost and farabee maybe both can make the roster at the start of this season.
logically their are four guys fighting for 2 spots in in the roster one on the 3rd line and one on the 4th line.(If we dont trade for reaves) and there´s Gabriel, Pitlick, Farabee and Frost fighting for those ones.
Top 6 FWD wins you games
Bottom 6 FWD wins you cups
Would have loved to seen Wayne the train with Lindblom and patrick. (maybe at the deadline)
And i think that Raffl laughton and Reaves would be a hard working, hard hiting 4th line that would work the same way that Blues 4th line with Steen, Sundqvist and Barbashev did last year.
