Slafkovsky isn't a C so he wouldn't be the 3C.

You're over the cap by quite a bit.

I’ve seen reports saying he is LW/C… never seen him at C but figure those guys know more than I do. Either way, I’d keep him on wing if I drafted him haha

That pick gets moved twice in this post haha. So I don’t get this at all. Maybe Buffalo doesn’t want too many picks so they just give one away?

Haven't seen that anywhere tbh. He might have played there before but he's been playing LW for a while now.

I think they need their pick back for the offer sheet, so they offered the next years pick plus a 5th for the trouble. I would ask for a 4th, but I think that was the point. If you offer sheet a player, you have to have your own picks, in this case they already traded us a pick in the ristolainen trade, so they need it back for the offer sheet

I was more for reason to get the three guys in, He is a LW but Cooley and Savoie is C so, but I think all of them should get the chance in a third line if drafted

I understand, just not to be a jerk, but that pick could be in the mid 30's range next year, who knows with 2024.

I know he is not a Center but Savoie and Cooley is so was more the third line role for the drafted player that was the point.
There is 6 extra players in the lineup, was more to show the depth underneath, more then the actuall cap space

I don't think they could resign both they have Kyligton to resign as well and Monahan to activate

No way the Kings take on all that cap without sending cap to Flyers. Kings keep their ELCs, the picks and could spend 12.3 better on UFA rather than Pronovov and Konecky.

Yeah but it feels mangeable to trade back 2nd rounder, its not Conor Mcdavid your trading for tears of joy

The 6 players on the taxi squad don't count against the cap (the "($0)" indicates this). You are over the cap without those 6 players and you'd have to move someone.
