trade targets

Good contract to expose for draft if needed. Just what would it take to get him? I'm not sure at this point.</div></div>
He’d be a nice pick up. Still has 2 years on contract at an affordable amount. I doubt he’s available

Beat me to it. Brown having a nice season but at almost 6 million for 2 more years that’s a big no.

I’m sure the return will be nowhere near what that blow Simmonds suggested of Sandin or Liljergin and a first. Lol.
Looking what Hall and Stone recently got traded for. Both a pretty good prospect and a second. Both are better then Foligno, but Simmonds thinks leafs aren’t giving a first and a top prospect lol.
I’d do Kerfoot and a second for Foligno half retained and a 6th.

I’m sure he’s more valuable to jackets but if they aren’t going to make the playoffs then they could acquire assets and resign him in the offseason

What if we gave Bracco a chance
Let’s give him a chance.
Then plays him on the 4th line.
Leafs shouldn’t be in the business of “giving” prospect a chance. They have to earn the chance. Bracco simply has not done so.

great realistic team with cap sapce to make midseason moves
2020 or 2021 Still don’t care. Kumpher might be slightly better then Andersen but he has tremendous value right now with $1 million actual salary. So many teams will be cutting cost. And 1 million for an Allstar goalie is a bid deal. I don’t see the difference in talent being a second and fourth vs first rd.

Why is Andersen worth a second and fourth. But kumpher is worth 15 overall.

Ekblad Available
No doubt leafs top that offer. I do think Ekblad is available. Read that he will get 9+ million cash next year with 7.5 million cap hit. These are they types of contracts the leafs might be able to exploit, with teams strapped for cash.

leafs 2020-21 the cup team
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>leafs_RtheBest</b></div><div>Kerfoot and Johnson provide solid depth (kerfoot can play 3C ad johnson 3W or a fringe 2nd liner). The Yotes are selling their U-24s as I said, and Kuemper is still going to have to be paid big money. Andersen has the edge because he only has to be paid 1M which is good for a team like the Yotes. A 3rd line center and a fringe 2nd liner is a solid trade for a player who is going to develop into a 2C. By the time Tavares is 34, he'll become the 3C and Hayton the 2C behind AM34. The trade makes a lot more sense for both teams than it seems at first look.</div></div>
Hayton was drafted 5 overall 2 years ago. He’s 20 years old. ZERO chance he gets treaded for kerfoot and Johnson.

I think you got that backwards. Coyotes have said they are willing to trade anyone over 25. Check hockey writers article sept 17. Dreger said they are listing to any trade of players over 25.

Thanks for clarifying that. I looked up kumpher signing bonus I didn’t see it on the list I looked at. Found it in another article.
This offseason is going to be crazy. So many teams having trouble making payroll or needing to reduce payroll. I bet there will be quite a few interesting trades.

This it conversation if coyotes make that pitch ....
Hey Kyle it’s Bill Armstrong new GM of the coyotes. I’d like to offer you Darcy Kumpher, we will need Pittsburgh first rounder and Nick Robertson.
Kyle’s response - sorry the number you have dialed is no longer in service. Laughter on the background as he hangs up.

Coyotes wouldn’t want a very trade able asset? Never said coyotes were going to go with Andersen and Raanta.

Andersen is 1 million Johnsson is 2.6 and 800000 retention = 4.4 million in actual cash. Less then what Keumper makes. They add a young dmen out of this.
