Not just that.......3,08 GAA Backup would be Timashov / Moore + 3rd max, so that leaves Kapanen and a 2nd for a soaking Swede that is curently of no use for theTeam and not living to his Draft expectations.......

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Liamthepro</b></div><div>Yeah that's what struck me. I had DeMelo you the Leafs in the preseason, but was thinking it would cost... more than nothing</div></div>
DeMelo is an RHD with fantastic underlying numbers who plays 20 minutes a night. He's a good skater, and while he's not an overly gifted puck mover, he's able to get the puck up ice effectively and with control.
He does a lot of things that guys like Colin Miller or Josh Manson get so much love for, but he does it at 900k.
If Ottawa isn't wowed by an offer he's staying in Ottawa. If it were up to me he wouldn't even be made available.

He is RFA, not a rental, and might want to be someone's starter next year. TML don't need that, with a Russian keeper signing seeming more realistic.</div></div>
I kinda think Georgiev is over hyped as well. I like him but the asking price for a guy who has relatively average numbers seems extremely high.

The Leafs don't play much defense anyway their d men are just a means to move the puck up to their forwards. So don't get to hung up on d men being hurt.

Kapanen, Liljegren and a 2nd and I'd probably give in if Brodin can't get us Bokk out of Carolina.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BLIvingston33</b></div><div>That's fine, but their fans need to stop thinking the Wild will take Kapanen one for one for Dumba.</div></div>
I agree the Leafs won't get Dumba 1 for 1 with Kapanen but he could be part of the deal. That said I can't see the Leafs trading away 1 of their top 4 forwards while they look like a strong playoff team without Dumba. If Dubas did that he should be fired. If Wild want to get Nylander from Leafs they will have to wait until after the season, then there may be an opportunity.
Wild need to get younger so if the Leafs offered Ceci, Liljegren, and Kapanen possibly a 3rd for the Ceci cap dump I would be inclined to except that deal from them. Not interested in Bracco I think at best he is a 3rd line wing.
Also I believe Leafs blow their best trade bait on Georgiev.

Toronto has no first. The only thing they have to offer is Nylander unless they wanna give up Kapanen, Liljegren and a pick. They have nothing else to offer the Wild, a team full to the brim with wingers.

And no, they couldn't possibly have their sights set this high, or he wouldn't have been mentioned as "available" by a few sources.
But this won't come close to happening, so Wilder people can dream. Likely a more future oriented package going their way, that's why the Leafs fans have talked young forwards and picks.</div></div>
"Maybe listening to offers on Dumba" is not "available". They don't need to trade him at all, the offer would have to be very good.

You can wrap it however you want and use all the fancy stats with coloured colums that you want, its Goalie talk and your "Starter" is currently 3,08 GAA, even Hutchinson looked more like 1st Goalie when he started, so few non-fancy stats for you :
Hutchinson ( his first three Seasons ) :
38 GP......2,38.......0,914
30 GP......2,84.......0,907
28 GP......2,92.......0,903
Currently 3,83.......0,885
Georgiev :
10 GP.......3,15.......0,918
33 GP.......2,91.......0,914
21 GP.......3,11.......0,911

First of all, I don't think Toronto is the team that makes the most sense as a trading partner. They should be looking for a backup, not a young goalie who should be getting a chance to become a starter. So of course they want to pay backup prices. They should go with someone like DeSmith.
Second, what's the deal with Bracco? The Leafs had a ton of injuries and put his AHL coach in charge and he still couldn't even get a cup of coffee in the NHL.

What's with all of the unrealistic Dumba trades today? Minnesota isn't moving him unless a headliner and a 2020 first come back.</div></div>
But they gave up Johnsson & Kapanen in the deal to get Dumba, so I guess they need replacements.

Bracco, Hutchinson, and a second would be my offer to get Georgiev. Bracco being a hometown boy, Hutchinson for depth (they only have Adam Huska in Hartford now that Igor Shesterkin has been called up) and a future pick in a deep 2020 draft.
