Try again
my only concern with this would be Ceci to Anaheim, Ceci has an unfortunate reputation, i dont see a rebuilding team paying for him, at least not a 3rd for him

I think my big issue is Bouchard, a bridge contract after his season and remarkable playoff gets him a bridge with a minimum of 4 million, i can't see him taking any less

It’s a rebuild for fun thing, based on NHL18, not an actual thing

expansion not actually vancouver
they were traded to the other teams, this is actually a game with like 30 of us, we use cap friendly just to make it easier to calculate our caps, so those trades are actuallyin some of the above trades like Toronto first to select Callahan, and tor second came to me in the to select Phaneuf I believe

cap issues
Every single one of those trades is a fan boy playing NHL 13 with force trades on... Seabrook is one of the worst contracts in the game and you want to get a good young player with a great value contract for him. JVR is a UFA and Toews, although a great player, does not fit into Toronto's plan when they need a dman (Lilegren is there best d prospect) and KAdri is one of Babcocks go to guys. Crawford is getting older and goalies these days don't go for more then a first round pick never mind and up in coming top 4dman and a 25 year star forward who although injury prone puts tons on the board. Lastly, New JErsey considers Keith Kinkaid a 1b goalie and they want to keep him with Schneider to lower the load, nvm taking on a guy who could not even make Chicagos terrible defense this year and has not been able to stay with a team anytime in his career

Next Year - Comment thoughts
I don't necessarily agree, Boston had a very good year, no doubt about that, however the Backes trade would not happen and Boston taking on another huge contract while they have RFA's coming up to sign long-term (Carlo, Mccavoy, Grelysk, Debrusk) is just highly doubtful, and Carlson is not taking any 2-3 year deal, the fit just is not there imo

Next Year - Comment thoughts
I don't see Carlson taking less then 7, most likely no less then 7.5 and another point is Riley Nash got 42 points this season, that earns him more then 950k per, he will get 2 million on the open market

Completely agree, if Paul would come back it would be terrific, and I would be the first to admit I was wrong, I loved him in an Avs jersey and he would bring experience for those young guys for sure, this year is pretty much Paul, Tavares and not much else at a decent age, horrible year for C's UFA's

No way Marc Staal gets a return anything close to that, you would need to pay to get that cap off the teams hands. Otherwise, everything seems pretty good, you would just need to give something up to fix that cap situation

Although I think these signings do bring the Avs back to the playoffs, I do not think Stastny has any intention of returning to Colorado! I love the De Haan singing to solitfy the top 6 with Timmins getting his chance, only if De Haan can actually stay healthy

CBJ off-season plans
I agree this will not do much but get them back into the playoffs, I am still working on an idea of a Dubinsky trade because the Panarin, Werenski and Bobs extensions may prove very costly the 2019-20 season, leaving the team in a position where they cannot really sign the players that would truly put them over the top, that is why I did not spend to much on any more long term deals which could provide what they need. I was thinking of finding away of getting rid of Dubinsky but, he is not a player that would return much imo
