The Odd man out is Shaw. Shaw is worth maybe a 5th rd pick. the hawks will either trade Maata or Smith or buyout one of them.
Sorry not trying to hate, but the Line combos are trash. Why is Saad on the fourth line? Dach needs actual linemates, not 4th liners. Even Colliton isn't dumb enough to make those combos.
Seabrook won't be a LTIR to start the season and I don't think the coyotes will do that

We might be able to beat the Oilers
Record against the Oilers, 2020 2 wins 1 loss. 2019 2 wins 0 losses. 2018 1 win 2 losses. 2017 2 wins 2 losses.
The Blackhawks have a better record against Edmonton but I'd rather get a pick.

We just have to pray that Seattle takes our favorite player Brent Seabrook then we could have koekkoek as an established 7th D

I think seabrook will end up the 7th D so the lines could be
Keith-Boqvist or Keith-Mitchell
de Haan-Mitchell or de Haan-Boqvist
Carlson-Murphy or Carlson-Murphy

Smith has 1 year left on his deal he'll provide depth and can help the pk. plus your getting a higher pick.

They could also try Mitchell at LD because he's played a little in college, but I rather play Murphy there so it doesn't hurt Mitchell's development. I think Seabrook is done in 1-2 years, so I don't like the idea of trading our best defensemen to make room for an inconsistent player

Lines against Edmonton
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>newman23</b></div><div>That 3rd line is filthy but you need another good defensive forward to toews if hes gonna match up against the mcd or drai line. Also sounds like dehaan will be good to go for playoffs which is a huge add for the LHD depth</div></div>
I think Colliton is going to play Toews and Debrincat together, along with Kubalik and Dach. But Sikura deserves a spot, after an outstanding training camp and I would like to see him play on are top line against Edmonton and if it doesn't work out he can swap Caggiula and Sikura.

I think the Hawks still should trade Maata or de Haan and try Murphy playing LD

What LD should we target
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Richard88</b></div><div>There's no guarantee that Nylander will have a linear growth in production with more minutes, nor that he will find chemistry on the 2nd line.
Jost is absolutely a fair comparable. They're both 22 and have had seasons in the mid 20's in points with around 12 minutes ice-time in the bottom 6.
I'm not saying that Alexander Nylander can't break out - he very well may do, but my point is that I wouldn't want to make that gamble by trading a top 4 Dman. I don't think Graves should be traded - at least not until one or both of Timmins and Byram are established NHLers, but if he is then it should certainly be in a package for an established top 6 forward. For example, Graves+ for Domi.</div></div>
yea I could see the gamble but this was Nylander's first full nhl season he only played less then 20 games in buffalo and the rest in the AHL. for a 30 point rookie with the around 12 minutes it fair to say that he will grow as a player
