Strengthening the team - trades with OTT, NYR, NSH
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Mbrunne3</b></div><div>I'm arguing your point of being a 3rd C but yea you're right. Should I go get more data to show the shutdown role he plays or should you just prove your point by just giving more opinion rather than fact?</div></div>
I think ppl are forgetting that he started roughly 60% in the defensive zone, put up 13th most primary points. It’s impossible to have positive possession stats when you are put in a defensive role.

For all those here for those possession numbers you’re quoting, bring it all to the right. 63% defensive zone start.

3-way trade with NYR and CHI
NYR have no reason to give up Beleskey as cap dump since they have plenty of cap space already, and Hayes is worth at least a mid round 1st which your package don't provide in value

If Hayes gets traded to Avs, most likely it’d be a one for one with a high end prospect. Probably just a step under makar if not makar. 25+ goal, 50 point players centers are surprisingly worth a lot

Trading PK??? Your thoughts
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Mbrunne3</b></div><div>I dont think that you got a good enough return to be honest. I like AA and think that he is a good bottom 6 guy and svechnikov seems like he has a high chance of not planning out. Obviously th picks are really nice but I think if your going to trade subban to the wings it should be something like a 1st, a 2nd, and a really high end prospect. Or maybe like zadina and a 1st.</div></div>
I think that PK's value is lower than most think for two reasons. One he is over paid by about 1.5-2 million dollars in my opinion. Two he is not well like behind the scenes by teammates, coaches and management because he is a big character and needs a team like the wing with solid vets to control him.

NY Rangers 610
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Mbrunne3</b></div><div>Believe me when I say that I love the idea of getting back cal Foote from the lightning to take on Callahan... we just have so many dman prospects, I would rather get raddysh back as he is a winger that we desperately need in our prospect system. The good thing though is that if we do get Foote back he at least plays the right side... love the trade though</div></div>
Definitely agree we need winger depth and Raddysh would be a great option. Chose Foote because I feel he’s a guy who could play Right Side in the NHL within a year or two. Made this trade as if it was a part of Karlsson deal with Tampa and Ottawa. Would love to see the Rangers be the third team and take on Callahan to play on the 4th line and help groom some of the young guys in addition to getting a nice prospect like Foote or Raddysh.

He’s not any D prospect though. He’s a top prospect that could potentially be a top pairing player.

Nylander tradeN tor side
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Mbrunne3</b></div><div>Well 1st of all your getting back mats zuccerello who is a 60 pt a year player on a dirt cheap contract, 2nd your getting the rangers pick in 2020 which is most likely going to be a lottery pick because the rangers are still going to be bad for the next 2 to 3 years. Lastly nylander, marner, and matthews can not all fit under the cap for years to come if the leafs try and go for it for the next couple of years, they will need to sign a lot of depth, especially dmen, during free agency for over market value.</div></div>
I just think it poor return for nylander. those picks are too much in the future. now maybe some potential milers hat the rangers own might be possibility. it has been shown that all those players can fit under the cap. it's starting in 2020, there might be problems. even if 2019, the leafs could might make a trade, but for something that is going to help right away. certainly the leafs have cap space this year and I;m sure the would prefer to have nylander over zucc and vesey.

well done. i hope walhstrom falls to 9 to. if bokk is available at 26 i would prefer him over merkeley but its hard to pass on the upside there. if chicago ends up with walhstrom and bokk that would make me insanely jealous lol.

yea that would be quite the haul for NYR I really like lindqvist and Bokk. Two underrated guys who could fit right into where they pick

@VictorMete's 2018 Mock Draft
Love love love Wahlstrom to the Rangers. A lot of mock drafts I see have the Rangers taking a defenseman, but they already have some promising future D prospects with DeAngelo, Pionk, Day, Hajek and Brady Skjei all being under 24 years old. We could use an elite player up front to build with, as Wahlstrom would be a great piece to complement Chytil and Andersson going forward. I don't know if the Canucks would pass up on him, but they did draft Elias Pettersson last season, so there's their elite forward. Chicago also needs defense, as Keith and Seabrook both showed their ages with their struggling play this season. Also love Quinn Hughes to Detroit as a hockey fan, U of M kid going to play for the Wings, just like DBoss. Love to see it.
