Thornton retires I would think if not then don’t resign him and trade Melker Karlsson also Labanc will get much more the 1.75 but it will be interesting to see if EK stays long term

Could this work
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>arousedcat</b></div><div>A couple things here.
First, I don't think this is enough. Dallas will probably want a 1st round pick and the price will definitely be higher for a division rival. They will also likely want our best forward (Granlund) in return for theirs. I'd say Granlund, Kunin, and a 2019 1st would be pretty close to Seguin and Point (though Coyle might have to be a piece given they'd have a hole at center). As a Badger fan, I'd rather we give up Eriksson Ek than Kunin (I know other Wild fans that would say otherwise, but I value his right shot) but losing either of them is a tough pill to swallow.
Second, if we're giving up this much of our future in the form of picks/prospects, Seguin better come with an extension. He won't be cheap, though. I estimate he'll make more than Tavares (in the ballpark of $12M). We'd have to unload some bigger contracts to make that a possibility.</div></div>
Not 12 mil Seguin has only got over 80 points once in his career

IMO LIttle or Perrault will be traded as well as Dano and Petan On D i can see Trouba,Kulikov ,Meyer,Chariot and Morrow possibly being moved and Brossoit will not finish the year with the jets</div></div>
Trouba will be traded at the draft not during season Little won’t be traded Perrault maybe traded at draft honestly the Jets won’t make any trades until deadline and they will probably trade for a Rental again but those players won’t be traded until draft.

The Forward lines are correct except for Vesalainen over Dano and the D lines
Morrissey - Trouba
Niku or Chariot - Byfuglien
Kulikov - Myers
Morrow Poolman Niku or Chariot will be sitting or playing in the NHL

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>orignalsix</b></div><div>Dano and Lemieux aren't worth much. Jets might get more, but Duchene to Jets seems like a good fit.</div></div>
Lemieux is very good he could be a potential top 6 F or very Good top 9 F he should have been in the NHL 2 years ago but the Jets have so many great forwards he hasn’t got his chance yet in Ottawa he probably will and Dano has been a bit of a bust but he can play very well on the bottom 6 honestly I think this is a fair trade that can be made at TDL because we would just need Duchene as a rental we couldn’t sign him that year.

Morrisey is much better then Hanifin
Hanifin does have a better ceiling but hasn't proven he can play like a top 2 D man like Morrisey has this past season honestly both teams would probably not do this deal but it is interesting

Future Outlook
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>mk458</b></div><div>Fair point! Although I think you're underestimating Bjugstad, He's a 6'6" power forward that put up 49 points and centered Floridas 2nd line. He was amazing last season and he's locked up for 4.1 million for the next 3 years. But I get that trouba will be hard to acquire. What if Florida offered Bjugstad, Pysyk, and a 1st? Or maybe Trochek 1 for 1? And I edited the Trouba signing for 6.95 million, keep in mind Florida's incredibly low income tax. Thanks for the comment, I'm always open to constructive criticism</div></div>
Maybe I am underestimating Bjustad I don't watch Florida much so I don't really know how good they are. For Trouba the Jets don't want a depth D man they already have a lot of them either a young prospect D man and a really good 2nd line center is what they would want in return maybe Trochek not really sure though.
