If you think that 3rd pairing defenseman from the Slovak Extraleague should be on the team, I don't think there is any point in debating with you.

lmao, Hudacek has ended his international career, Konrad just had a horrible injury, Lantosi is having a terrible season, but debatable, Gernat and Ceresnak are much better than Marincin, and with Meszaros, maybe if it was 2010, but you seem to have no idea lol

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Abroot</b></div><div>While I love to see Stammer making the team, he shouldn't be on the first line with McDavid and Point. First line should be Point-McDavid-Mackinnon. Point or Barzal could interchange but the speed that line could play at would b incredible. Stammer should be with a guy that can dish the puck and on the PowerPlay unit. Also Reilly shouldnt be first pair. And you should keep Marchand Crosby Berg together.</div></div>
I thought it would be nice to have the ''Halifax line'' together, they are good buddies and train together in summer, that chemistry would be crazy. Bergeron is a great center who wins a ton of faceoffs, so I think it would be useful to have him as a center. With Rielly, I can see him out of the lineup as well as 1st pair, there are just so many options for that defense...

Boeser will be a scratch and both Tkachuks will make this team. Also no McDonaugh or Petry?? Redo completely</div></div>
If Eichel is not recovered, Larkin could take his spot, I agree with that, however, Larkin seems to be not as good as he used to be and at this point, he is a half-point-per-game player in the NHL. DeBrincat has crazy chemistry with Kane and if you add Matthews to these two, they can make even Canada's team worried. Brock Nelson could make the team if Eichel is out, but I see him as an extra forward on this team. Boeser is a very good goal scorer and a menace on a powerplay, Tkachuks are overrated and Brady is nowhere near making the team imo, he's not quite there yet. McDonagh could be an extra instead of Torey Krug and Petry is very good but there are way too many better RD's on this team.

Carolina for the Cup
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>etpeck</b></div><div>Even if Tatar was to resign I’d say the canes are giving up way too much. Fleury has really developed into a solid defenseman and he takes the 3rd pair spot on the right with the ability to play throughout the lineup due to injuries. Suzuki is a top prospect and Nino is a solid middle 6 wingers who is slightly overpaid. Add a second and that’s a lot to give up for a guy who apart from one big season produces the same as nino.
Bean is a very good prospect, deserves a spot in the nhl, but is unproven. I would love the canes to give him a shot. Pairing him with Gardiner would be a disaster tho. Both players are offensively minded and u have Gardiner on his off side. That paring would get scorer on way too often. Now if u did like a Fleury bean pairing and traded Gardiner I would be more inclined</div></div>
You're right, but nobody wants Gardiner with his cap hit. I would love to see Bean - Fleury 3rd pairing tho.

Get a decent backup for Markstrom. We would kill him with Ned as the backup.
Take out Suzuki and Fleury, make the defender Bean. That is a ton to give up on a one year rental. that is exactly what he would be.</div></div>
Ned is actually good, just didn't get any chance to prove it in the NHL.

It'd actually surprise me less to see Detroit take him than it would to see Minny take him. Kahkonen looks like he could be a future stud. After Detroit, I'd say Nashville at 11OA, Carolina at 13OA or Edmonton at 14OA. Can't imagine he makes it to Chicago, though I'm sure they'd be pretty happy to take him.</div></div>
Good point, but it would make no sense for Nashville to pick Askarov. They've got Saros as their starter for a long time. Also, they've got Ingram, who can be a future Backup/Fringe starter.

Signing Piet Krug and Demko
Krug needs at least 7,5 mil and Pietrangelo 9 - 9,5 mil. Also, their center depth would be on Detroit's level. You are not going to make playoffs with that center depth, let alone win the cup.
