Those are nice PK numbers and the Canucks really, REALLY needed help on the PK.

I wanted the Canucks to sign this play since before free agency started. I was hoping to get him for $2.4 million or less, so $1.6 million is a steal.

Great cheap signing to fill 3C

Good deal. Hopefully turns into a bargain deal. Gives Raty and Aman time to develop.

Somehow we got our 3C for cheaper than our 4C. Not much risk here, he should fill our last blatantly obvious hole. Of course we are in cap troubles but I think a trade would be arranged for them to do this signing.

4th or 3th and I would do it... I'd be a bit hesitant for a 2nd but if the Canucks could retain a small amount like 0.95 I would do it

Good moves, I’d love to find a way to bring Schenn back in the off-season, he’s cheap and an incredible leader.

I like, you could actually move fenland, Poolman and dermott to IR (last I checked he was healthy) and that way you can get out from LTIR and be able to get rid of some of the performance bonuses from Kuzmenko

Honestly, if it gets us a decent defensemen I'm all for it :)

Bear it
I admittedly haven't really followed bear since leaving Edmonton but based of my knowledge of his time in Edmonton and Bakersfield think this could be an extremely underrated add. Personally think it would be a seamless fit.

They already have Rielly, Brodie, Muzzin, Dermott, Sandin, Dahlstrom, and Kivihalme who would all be ahead of Juolevi on the depth chart. He's a bust. & Toronto needs guys like Mikheyev for the PK more than they need an AHL defenceman. So again, doesn't make sense for Toronto at all.</div></div>
Juolevi isn't a bust, he's a 23 year old defenseman who has had trouble finding his game. A investment in the future rather than the now. Let's see, who does that sound like that Dubas has invested in? You can probably find dozens of examples in just the last few seasons. Holl, Galchenyuk, Ho-Sang this season, etc. It's exactly the type of player that Dubas has a history of giving a 2nd chance.

Canucks could actually use another fourth line PK guy. They only have 11 nhl level forwards. Leafs could use the 900k cap savings

Leafs could use dumping the cap and Juolevi had a high upside at one point. I could see the Leafs taking a gamble like this on a cap move. Juolevi isn't waiver exempt though so the Canucks would likely have to pass him through to start with.
