I admittedly haven't really followed bear since leaving Edmonton but based of my knowledge of his time in Edmonton and Bakersfield think this could be an extremely underrated add. Personally think it would be a seamless fit.

I doubt the Canes take that. Hogs has fallen off quite a bit, with the only spot he might have a chance at taki NR on the roster being Martinook, and knowing Brind’amour, Martinook won’t be scratched unless it’s something extreme. Not to mention DiPietro doesn’t do much for the Canes, since he would likely be the third goalie with the Wolves. Just do Bear for a second and call it a day.
