I can’t imagine trading Carlo unless it’s really worth it. I doubt we would resign Bo.

More than likely Anaheim not doing it. It would be beyond idiotic for Boston to pass on Troy Terry.

That’s why I’d like to see them cash in on Terry now. He’s worth a couple 1sts and some high end prospects.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>KennyBoi</b></div><div>I second what he said. BOS doesn't need a C. That's like their least position of need right now.
Now if either Bergy or Krech gets injured long-term before the TDL, then that changes. Let's hope that's not the case though. But even then, they have Zacha who can easily slide up there.</div></div>
There’s no guarantee either returns next year and we have nothing behind them. Zacha isn’t even close to Horvat. The odds of Krejci and Bergy returning are slim.

First off it’s a major overpay for a rental.
It’s taking away from a position of need, and adding a player at a position on he bruins have no use for.

Bad fit
Bad concept
Bad trade</div></div>

The bruins realized they made a horrible decision and did their best to save their skin. The commissioners statement was likely what made the difference, not “the big scary mob.”
They didn’t go after Ian cole, they paid him while they quickly investigated.
You presuming to know what evidence they have for the 2018 case is all time stupid.
I don’t see anything wrong with giving crap to a franchise that went after a guy thats been suspended twice for using racial slurs.
I’m going to summarize your position for you, because maybe you haven’t noticed how it comes across.
Seems like you’re really upset that people can no longer be horrible humans, and do horrible things without consequences.
That’s trash.</div></div>
Nonsense, no one cares about accountability. It’s about going after the people the mob doesn’t like. That’s all it’s been about and all it’ll ever be about.

The outrage mob got what they wanted. It’s not this kid getting axed that’s the problem because I don’t care that we dropped the kid. I am 100% ok with the decision to boot him. I knew as soon as I heard the signing there would be an internet mob forming. Don and Cam had to know that. I think Gary opening his big mouth did this in.
It’s not about this kid. It’s about the fact that this mob goes for whatever scalp it can claim. They went after Ian Cole without a shred of evidence. They want the heads of all those Canadian 2018 WJC players without any evidence. They wanted the heads of anyone willing to sign Deangelo, a guy who never broke any law or was even accused of wrongdoing. It’s not about this kid, it’s about the internet mob and the sickness that is their beehive mentality for “social justice”.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>cMac73</b></div><div>Bergeron is going to retire after this year I’d assume. Even if he did come back, we’d be in a worse spot and getting older. Kane also makes us older. That is a terrible plan for 2023-2024. I think they can still compete with the right moves in 23-24 but the goal would be to get younger players.</div></div>
You don’t magically get younger players. They have to be a quoted by trades or drafting. The later is the preferred way but you’ll be waiting on a player for a few years. Look at John Beecher as an example.

He will be at his ceiling in a year or two time. Some of these guys are 18-20 years old and have 5 or so years yet to go. It’s certainly not inconceivable he would be on a list because a couple of the teenagers likely won’t pan out. That’s just the way it goes

We’ll Point has trailed off since he dominated the postseason and won Tampa a cup. The jury is out on if that player is seen again. If he isn’t then he is out of the top 20 of the young guys pan out
