I hope we don't give up on Ylonen.
But i've been intrigued by a Virtanen trade.
Just a 2nd seems to come across these parts pretty often.

Three Team Trade
I think this makes a lot of sense for all teams.
But I agree that Minny probably needs a little more.
this feels like exactly what Winnipeg would want from a Laine trade.
I'd hate to see Danault go(also think an extension would be needed) but I'd love to see a large goal scorer in a Habs jersey.

Laine 3 way with NYI and MTL
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>moli92</b></div><div>why not? They made the conference finals and their main need is a goal scoring forward, if they have a chance to get one then I think they should go for it. They have lots of contracts that they can move to clear cap for the next 2 seasons which they will probably have to move in order to fit Barzal anyway so it shouldnt be that difficult to extend Laine imo</div></div>
I don't know;
Barzal, Pullock and Towes this year with 9Mil.
Pelech, Sorokin and Beauvillier next year...add Laine?
It'll be tough.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>moli92</b></div><div>How about swapping Wahlstrom for Bellows in the Domi trade?</div></div>
Maybe, but this isn't a good 3 way in my opinion.
NYI already gonna be in tight re-signing Barzal, which obviously they'll find a way to.
But next year, you wanna do it all over again with Laine?

Habs would consider Wahlstrom and 1st for Domi.
Opening the door for a bigger trade or offering Hall more $.

Fair enough, but I highly doubt OEL is done.
yeah, 8.25 is mad expensive, but on a more offensive orientated team I'm pretty sure he'd crush.

I just need futures for the 4.8 cap- and he would be a good fit on your 2nd line.

Watching Dallas this year, St.Louis last year;
it's pretty easy to buy into size right now.
Yes, Byron fits our mold of speedy Wingers, but that doesn't really matter as much on a 4th line-which is where he'll top out this year outside of injuries.
Don't get me wrong, I'm using this as an all else failed IE no blockbuster to acquire a top-6 big-bodied winger, or T.Hall(not big, but we need goals and offense).

Virtanen is fine as he has some upside, Chiasson has zero upside and costs too much for what he brings.
He couldn't perform with the studs on his current team, he'd just be dead weight on the Habs.</div></div>
I must admit I don't know much of his game, but he's a big body and 2 mil for 1 year-who cares?
If we can't get Hall or a big, top 6 winger we're going to make some type of move like this-Bergy did say he plans on going up to the cap this season.
10 Mil with Domi and Mete to sign, that's it. (Jusslen, but wtv-he'll be under a mil).
