<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Byrr</b></div><div>I'd probably expect a 2nd for him. I look at Zadorov's trade to Calgary in the offseason as a comparable. A young 3rd pairing defenseman who fetched a 3rd round pick. Dermott is younger, on a better contract and has at the very least 2 seasons term remaining in the coming offseason so it elevates to a 2nd.</div></div>
Absolutely not, Zadorov is a terrible comparison. A 4th rounder is enough for Dermott

Jokes aside, I dont think we are looking to moveDermott. Young, local guy that plays both sides. Hes getting more physical and hes underratedly strong. If we were looking to move him, maybe a 3rd or a 4th?

This is a joke right? You think the sharks will give Reimer and a pick to take Mrazek? You’re dreaming, try Reimer for Mrazek and a 1st.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Random2152</b></div><div>Enjoy a little bit of fun, god knows you guys need it, but let's just stay realistic here and remember that most teams get a new coach bump.
In order to make the playoffs, the 'Nucks would need to play at a similar pace for the rest of the season as last years Tampa Bay Lightning did. That just squeezes you in.
You aren't as good as Tampa my guy</div></div>
I'm not sure how good Tampa is this season honestly, just that they are good enough to be a playoff team, but I don't necessarily think I'm confident enough in their roster depth to make ANOTHER deep playoff run. Tampa, to put it politely, has been pretty streaky this regular season at least
As for Boudreau, it's not as if the Canucks are continuing to play the way they were under Green but the bounces are all of a sudden going their way, Gabby has fundamentally changed that teams game and I see no reason why their success isn't sustainable until at least the end of the regular season, just my observation

It's a long shot for sure, but one can't deny they have the right mentality to best tackle the predicament that they are in

Pearson has 6G 9A and is +6 while Gallagher has 4G 6A and is -6. If Pearson is a 4th line player, then so is Gallagher and at half the cost and term. Also, you're crazy if you think Gallagher is worth Garland plus some.

Garland alone has much more value than Gallagher. He has a terrible contract and at this point is close to a cap dump

He's a good 4th liner, could play 3rd line minutes in a pinch and good at killing penalties. Any smart GM would covet a player of Motte's ilk.

Defence
With the way they're are both playing this season, I regard Dermott and Holl as both cap dumps. If I'm sending Tyler Motte the other way, I want a 2nd rounder coming back as well, otherwise Canucks will easily find better offers, and Hamonic isn't going anywhere for less than a 4th rounder

How much for beaner
I doubt he's for sale and his value has increased since his trade.
I think a mid first would entice CBJ to move him.
If not that, maybe Rathbone and a second, but I would do that pretty happily so maybe that's low.

Miller starts at 2 firsts
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>slater417</b></div><div>Miller is absolutely 100% not a top 10 goal scorer in the league. In the same vein that Chris Kreider is not a top 10 goal scorer in the league.
Miller is a PPG player in vancounver, but only barely and that includes a significant PP percentage. In a team like NY he doesn't get anywhere near that PP time nor percentage. Miller might be a second line player and second PP, which gets on avg 1:30 per game of PP time.</div></div>
Lol this is just a bad take. Miller would be on the 1st PP in NY. He has always been good on the PP even Tampa used him on the first PP quite often.
