After a move like that I could see him not getting a contract from Yzerman.

CHI goaltending situation is **** and their Dcore has a high Turnover right
The Jones Brothers alone are high volume offenders
You know its Sad when Zaitsev is one of your D the least likely to Turnover a puck .... Zaitsev ....
That means atleast 1-2 of those picks are going to be higher and IMO almost guaranteed top 15 picks matching where we got Cole.
We invest in Michkov like we did Caufield and while he's slightly behind Caufield its not by much
I would really miss Caufield still though but with Dach/Suzuki connection still in play we got something left to build on with Slafkovsky not far behind them</div></div>
Laugh now bro Soderblom is the future of European goaltenders

Big time Sellers
The cost of Hellebuyck is going to be a A+ prospect, a young roster player, and a 1st rounder. That increases with retention.
Carolina is a fit, and could supply that, but they would have to include Kochetkov.
But then again, they could end up just signing a back up and rolling with Pyotr.

Buffalo isn't gonna want a center. Connor or Ehlers they'd be in on for sure.

Why did I assume Ehlers was a 30 goal/season guy? Instead of the pick to Van, a defender like Dillon or DeMelo is something they'd be after. This FO needs playoffs asap.

I think Kubalik would be a good fit to go the other way, still provide some of the offense and on a good cap hit.

Its highly unlikely Edmonton values Veleno at a 2nd. They have McLeod who is better, and Philp who they're developing into a defensive center (because he already makes good decisions).
He just isn't worth a 2nd.

It might be all Ottawa can get though. 1 year, then Cat gets paid; not a ton of teams can pay what many suspect will be the ask in tbe 8 million plus range.
I'm not saying it is fair value on the trade, but it might be the best offer. If Ottawa keeps him for next season, they may not be able to afford the QO, and if he has another down year, the trade offers might be lower. It's a tough call for Ottawa.
I seriously doubt Debrincat signs for 7 million, but I guess that all depends on how Debrincat feels about playing for his hometown team at a discount.

Also sorry Columbus but I highly doubt you are high on O'Reileys's list of places he wants to play. He has talked a lot this year about being on a contender, and Columbus seems to want to get prospects in the lineup.
This would be a great landing spot for Bedard thou, I could easily see in 2-3 years a Johnson - Bedard - Silinger line tearing up the league.</div></div>
Actually this could be the perfect spot for OReilley. He could play the second or third line center spot. He would clearly help some of the defensive deficiencies in the forward dept.

Interesting, not sure San Jose does it though with how far off they are from competing. Hart has also had one good year and has been very average since
