Thanks for the info, I didn’t know that.

Dermott’s QO is $874,125. He has no arbitration rights. Mikheyev’s QO is also $874,125. He is going to arbitration. A safe bet is to estimate he’ll make somewhere between his QO and whatever he’s asking for.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>palhal</b></div><div>Ceci just can't be flipped unless there is somebody to take his place. And you math is wrong. Let's say Ceci is traded at game 41...Leafs have already paid half his or 2.25m, and 2.25m remains So the Leaf annual cap saving is 2.25 minus half the annual cap saving of his replacing. Is it really worth flipping him for 1.4m in cap saving? Certainly not a 4.5m cap saving</div></div>

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CameronLeafs</b></div><div>and Nylander wanted a Draisatl contract. Didn't happen. Kerfoot will file for arbitration and likely get 3-3.2 apparently. at 6 years Marner will be 10-10.5, and 3 or 5 years Marner will be 9-9.9.
@OP, I like the lines, I think Marchment is in the AHL, Agostino takes his spot. I think Kerfoot replaces Moore on 2LW to start and I think Shore starts as 4C with Spezza at 3C</div></div>
Yeah you’re probably right. Agostino and Shore both have NHL experience. And with Babs we know tie goes to the veteran.

Tried to build the right side D while also keeping the rest of the team intact. If they’re goal is to keep their roster players you can expect the right side D to look close to this.

The OTT-TOR trade that will send Nikita Zaitsev and Connor Brown to the Sens for Cody Ceci should be consummated tomorrow morning once TOR pays Zaitsev’s $3M signing bonus. At least six pieces (players or picks) included but the primaries are Zaitsev, Brown and Ceci... as per Bob Mackenzie TSN

But you seem to so evasive. I'm not buying it. Virtually all players are covered by insurance, so team don't pay out of pocket. Horton was an exception is that he had a pre existing medical before signing his 7 year contract with the Columbus so his contract no insurable .</div></div>
If you buy it or not doesn’t matter. If they can move the contract they will.

7.6m? I think you mean 6.6m. NZ at 4.5 and Brown at 2.1. Which means Ducks save money on the deal plus get 2 nhl players back. You can put any kind of draft pick you want in there I don't really care. The Ducks probably can"t afford to pay Kesler 6.85m to sit the rest of his contract term (careers most likely over). The Leafs can afford to pay him like Horton and the free up some cap space as well. Obviously it's LTIR space but still usable space.

Interesting, I think this is the first realistic Marner contract I've seen anyone put on here. Everyone else puts him at 9-9.75 million for 6-8 years, which is never going to happen.

I think everyone called up would be called up on “emergency basis” which is basiwhat they do now. Because the Marlies are so close maybe Leafs think it doesn’t matter?

Trying to figure Leafs 19-20 Cap
I’m projecting what I believe players will sign for next year. I did not sign Nylander to that contract, that’s what his cap hit will be. I also don’t think that Marner or Matthews will take less money for any reason. Let me reiterate, this is not what I want the players to sign for, it’s what I believe they will if you think realistically.
