Ana - I'm guessing to give up the 2OA they would need three firsts or a prospect and 2 firsts.

Tor - Fantilli would be fun for Toronto but i don't think they are giving up Marner for just that pick. Again they would want a "now" piece as well. Even if it's more of a cap dump type player since they will save on the $.

PHX - not sure even paying down the contract they will find 2 x 1sts. Why don't they just try and land fantilli with those picks? Or 2OA and a contract dump?</div></div>

Arizona needs to show they can win and aren't just a dumpster franchise so getting multiple trade pieces back that can play in the NHL or are close to playing in the NHL (think of maybe the Jack Eichel trade) will help prove that. Toronto can always add onto what Anaheim would be getting with the 28th pick of the draft if need be. Anaheim needs good prospects. They have some elite guys, but they need multiple good prospects and this would help. They'd be getting 6 and 12 at least if they were to take the trade and that would tremendously help them out in two spots, rather than one. The drop-off after Fantilli in this draft is not that high from 2 to 6, so it's not like they're giving up that much. As for Toronto, they would be getting someone that can help make sure they remain competitive and who is under team control. Maybe it's worse for the first year (but maybe not considering Fantilli had a 60+ NHLe score in his draft year and that would likely go up in his D+1 when he's actually in the NHL or maybe it's fine. The Leafs would be better in a year for sure and that would help keep Matthews and Nylander for the long-term.
