Honestly, I'm torn. I like the build of the team, but am worried that guys like Kerfoot and Engvall won't continue their strong play in the playoffs. If you can get a top 6 winger (who's a big improvement on Jarnkrok), I'd try to use the first and a good prospect to land that player. Defense I think is in much better shape than previous years. I'm completely conifident in Lilly and Sandy, Gio is a stud who's gonna leave it all out on the table, and Reilly should work his way back to form. Benn, TImmons can play bottom pairing minutes, and we still have Holl (who's much maligned, but still manages to play 20 minutes a night but still manages to be a plus stat) that can work his way up and down the D pairs. Plus we have Brodie sitting in the wings on IR, who is a good top 4, but starting to decline.

I'd love to target Chych, but he's gonna cost too much. Horvat, Kane, Meier would all work well, but cost a lot for a rental (even though Meier is an RFA, the QO is massive). I'd love to get a guy like O'Reilly cause I don't think it will cost much more than a first at 50% retained if STL is out. Would love to pull in Konecny, but that's gonna cost multiple 1sts and prospects.

I also think we need to go after an additional goalie, since both Samsonov and Murray are injury prone. Reimer would be a good option that won't break the bank.

at the end of the day, I'm guessing Dubas makes a splash...........losing in the first round again doesn't seem to be an option
