The Sens Are Not Trading Tkachuk - But If They Did
I agree. The trade would be way more than this and it would not end up being worth it.

Thats great. Jarvis and a 2nd does not land you Brady.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>gumshoeismygod</b></div><div>Why are we comparing a player's counting stats in his 6th season compared to a player in his 3rd? Jarvis is ahead of where Tkachuk was at this point in his career, that is a fact. "Never crossed 50 and never scored 20" is so disingenuous and stupid given that he is literally like 5 games away from reaching both of this milestones this season.</div></div>
Your right, screw the points. Tkachuk is just the better player regardless

So your ONLY thing about tkachuk is his defence? How about the rest of his game where he dominates Jarvis?
Honestly this hurts me to say as I love Jarvis and the Canes. But you sir, are nuts.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>seanrushton</b></div><div>He's two goals away from twenty this year and 3 points away from 50 but let's not get away from the point that Tkachuk is an one-way forward who doesn't play a lick of defense meanwhile, Jarvis is a two-way forward who's very effective in his both zones while providing a whole bunch of grit. Offenses are super overrated when it comes to evaluating players.</div></div>
Lets not get away from the point that Tkachuk is 2x the player Jarvis is xD
These comments tell me youve never watched either of them play..

I'm new to this site but are people always this delusional. jarvis has never scored 20 goals even once while tkachuk has already scored 30 and 36. jarvis has never even crossed 50 points once while tkachuk has already been ppg. yes totally the difference between these two is definitely a 2nd.
I'm not even adding in the part about tkachuks physicality. absolutely laughable.</div></div>
Oh buddy. This site is the most delusional thing out there ahahaha. You cant post anything on this site without getting slammed for a good opinion, OR you see crazy opinions like this, and people actually think theres something here xD I cant believe I keep coming to this site after years, but here I am ahahah pure entertainment at this point

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>gumshoeismygod</b></div><div>I’m going to be dragged by Ottawa fans, but the Canes decline with ease. Jarvis is on pace for 65 points this year, is 2 years younger, and is a better 2-way player than Tkachuk. He fits the Canes system like a glove, and there is a 0% chance he gets traded for anything short of a bonafide superstar. And as much as Ottawa fans would want you to believe the opposite, Tkachuk is not that</div></div>
Nah youre gonna get dragged by Canes fans too. Tkachuk over Jarvis all day LMFAO

Moving Morrow should be an absolute no go at this point. Maybe there is an opportunity for a blockbuster deal where TK goes to the Canes and Necas goes to the Flyers. Other pieces would need to be added to really make it work for both teams, but it would be an interesting trade.</div></div>
Agreed all around. Id love to see Morrow and TK in a Canes jersey lol. Im all for moving Necas. I love him as a player and it would hurt a bit, but it is what it is. I really wanted them to pull the trigger on Tkachuk.

So its Morrow, and late in the round picks in 1st, 2nd and 3rd which is probably not a bad offer, and maybe tempting for Koneckny, but not enough there for them to include walker maybe</div></div>
Lets pretend Philly is giving him an extension then
Also I included in the description that Tieksola would prob have to be upgraded.

Yup can always count on a a hot 2 months from Martinook every season..
I understand why its hard to move a guy like Martinook. Theres literally no one else in the entire NHL with an attitude like his. Hes a wild boiii

youre saying if the Canes acquire a winger, it would be Fast or Noesen moved/sat? Id think Martinook would be the first guy out.
tbh I dont think theres much out there in terms of an upgrade to Fast or Noesen. Id love a similar type of player with higher skill, but that seems super rare right now. I agree with what youre saying tho

Even if Pitts didnt retain, Smith is still the better player. He hasnt worked well on Pitts this year, a change could spark something nice
Allen is like the only goalie I could see the Canes going after. Markstrom and Gibson will both cost way to much for the Canes to want to add them to the carousel. It would be much different if Andersen was out for the season.
Allen is kinda a lateral move in this scenario hoping he could be a 'playoff saviour'
