tkachuk is a ppg player with a ton of physicality. jarvis has never hit more than 20 goals or 60 points in a season. this offer would get blown out of the water by other teams.

Tkachuk also doesn't play defense. Jarvis is a rare breed of player... he's a small two-way power forward with a good scoring touch and effective in all situations... the difference between him and Tkachuk is a second or something equivalent to that

He's two goals away from twenty this year and 3 points away from 50 but let's not get away from the point that Tkachuk is an one-way forward who doesn't play a lick of defense meanwhile, Jarvis is a two-way forward who's very effective in his both zones while providing a whole bunch of grit. Offenses are super overrated when it comes to evaluating players.

Watching him a bunch... Tkachuk regularly looks disengaged in the defensive zone and has lost his man quite a bit.

Why are we comparing a player's counting stats in his 6th season compared to a player in his 3rd? Jarvis is ahead of where Tkachuk was at this point in his career, that is a fact. "Never crossed 50 and never scored 20" is so disingenuous and stupid given that he is literally like 5 games away from reaching both of this milestones this season.
