Here is my opinion on all these players
Thornton and Marleau- from a strategic standpoint, it would be good to get whatever we can for them (like a 3rd, maybe a 2nd if we're lucky) because they have good chances of retiring after this season
Sorensen- A lot of people want to trade him, but i'm not so sure. He has been a healthy scratch at times but has a good contract in my opinion
Melker- I would want to trade him. Get maybe a 3rd or 4th
Radil, Heed, Prout, Noesen, and Brodzinski- If anyone wants them, take them!
Dell- Dell is tricky. He's played decent as of late and has 1 year left. Since we will most likely buyout Jones in the offseason, it might be tricky getting 2 goalies in free agency. I wouldn't be opposed to trading him though.
Simek and Goodrow- the only two i'm really opposed to. Simek a great defender who can also put points on the board. I don't think he'll be expensive to re-sign either. Goodrow is on a great contract and has risen to the occasion with all the injuries.
Gambrell and Suomela- Probably not. young prospects with decent upside.
Last but not least, Labanc- I really want to trade him. Nothing against him, but he could get us a 1st round pick and a good prospect. Filling arguably our 2 most important needs

I know Middleton will play, but why don't we take a chance on someone like Roy or DeSimone. we know Middleton is a reliable 7th defenseman, but, not much more. DeSimone and Roy have pretty solid potential.

San Jose and Minnesota
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ON3M4N</b></div><div>That's a great point, but you're leaving out the minor detail that over that time period Labanc has 505 minutes of PP TOI while Heinen has 383 minutes of PP TOI. I'd also point out that it shows Labanc is more dependent on PP scoring than Heinen is. In fact over this time frame 35% of Labanc scoring has come via PP to 24% for Heinen.
I'll give you the playoff scoring though, the numbers would indicate he's been better there...however you've still yet to prove that he's "definitely better" lol.</div></div>
ok, i refrain. I think he's "better"

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ON3M4N</b></div><div>When say "scoring" I'm assuming you're talking about goals (since we've already talked about overall points). Now sure I'll give you that, he scores more...just how much more. Again using two full seasons plus this season here are the G/GP over 82 game numbers. You ready?
Labanc - 16G per 82
Heinen - 13G per 82
So yes he does score more goals per 82, he averages a whopping 3 more goals per 82 since the 2017-2018 season. What else do you want to explore because you're just making my point with each post you have.</div></div>
and assists on the pp. Heinen has had 19 powerplay assists in the 2 full seasons and this season combined, while Labanc has had 35. Labanc's production average is about a point every 26 minutes while Heinen's is about 30. Also, in the last 2 playoffs Labanc has averaged .46 points a game while Heinen is only at .27

That's honestly not a huge difference lol. I also pointed out that Heinen has thrown more hits, blocked more shots and has a better Tk/Gv ratio. When you take everything into consideration, its tough to say that Labanc is definitely better. Now you're more than welcome to think otherwise, but you've presented nothing to support your argument.</div></div>
Labanc is still scoring more than Heinen when Labanc is on a way worse team.

Thornton has value, would be better than Colorado's 3rd line center at the moment given Kadri's injury
Obviously Karlsson isn't great at scoring and getting points, but he would be good for Colorado's pk
