Maybe I'm just a homer but this would be a hard no from the Wild. Here's why I think that:

1.) Although we need a right shot winger, we have no space in our lineup for another forward at this time. The only way we take Kapanen is if we either make another trade involving a winger or somehow package a mega blockbuster deal involving Dumba and left shot winger. Of course, that would super complicate things and this situation is already complicated enough

2.) The Wild will want back a bigger package than what Zucker brought in. Unfortunately that means trading a 1st round pick (that you don't have) and at least a high end prospect. But, since we need to match salaries, I doubt you'll want to add Kapanen to a trade that's already involving a 1st and a high end prospect. So that leaves the contracts that are in LTIR to match (I see you did that with Ceci but I'm not sure it still works in the new trade). And Craig Leopold isn't going to want to pay out and LTIR without more compensation...so you see where I'm headed with this.

3.) Although it's true the Wild need right shot wingers, we have a less obvious but more disturbing problem. We lack quality center play. We are in desperate need of a 1st or 2nd line center (technically we need both) and I'm not sure who Dubas would be willing to part with. Obviously there is absolutely no trade that will involve Tavares or Matthews so we're really left wondering who's left that we could consider a #1 or #2?

Sorry for the long post. I'm just a bitter Wild fan trying to explain what a crappy situation we are in and why any trade seems almost impossible.
