Will you do this Colorado
Byram is 100% untouchable in any reasonable scenario. I could see Newhook being moved for Horvat with an extension, but I think the team will want to see if he can take a step this year before doing anything like that

Newhook should be fine as the 2C with the quality of wingers you have in the top 6

Sam Bennett and Jesse Puljujarvi
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>adamkaz23</b></div><div>I don't think the puljujarvi trade is gonna work. He still has high end potential but Edmonton sucks at being a hockey team and drafting/developing players so it's definitely not a good fit for him. Milano is older and has been underwhelming. Gotta add more. But I'm sure what EDM is asking for is way too much for a lot of teams.</div></div>
Really? This is THE year that Milano is going to break out. You could be in on the ground floor of his meteoric rise. All it takes is a pool party.

Moving Smith
My goodness, Smith being given away for peanuts... Go look at what some wingers cost to acquire at the TDL..... Smith is a proven point producer and playoff performer. Signed to a very cap friendly (<em>Roll credits!</em>) contract.
A late 1st and a prospect is not a stretch in the slightest.

It leaves Barrie as expendable. Trade him for Drouin ?</div></div>
Yuck, Barrie is worth so much more than Drouin....Barrie out produces him in offence while playing pretty solid Defence now. Drouin got out scored by Carl Soderberg and we are suppose to believe he's some sort of Stud still, Drouin is just Ryan Dzingle with draft prestige attached to his name

Most definitely would be a conditional high pick as Barrie is more valuable than Kadri.

Colorado
Seems like non Avs fans think Byram is gonna be the pick but I doubt they don't use this opportunity to get an elite forward prospect, considering the plethora of young defensemen/prospects they have and the lack of elite forward prospects. Obviously would've been nice to get Hughes or Kaako but now that they're 4 Cozens/Podkolzin/Dach seem much more realistic than Byram.

ugh what? They control the pace of play more than defenders do, this is such a generic without context comment. Are you aware of Tyson Barrie and how good he is at zone exits and entering the neutral and offensive zone with speed? I would say thats the opposite with an actual mobile puck moving Dman...something Edmonton really hasn't had before, might do wonders.

Prospect Swap with Ducks
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>adamkaz23</b></div><div>Good idea. The enforcer role is being faded out. Teams want some players like this. Piss off opposing teams with pesky physical play and just hard work. Players that play with an edge but still take care of business defensively and make smart plays. Every team needs a guy like that. And they're relatively cheap!</div></div>
I see Jones as a player that's similar to Michael Ferland but cheaper for now. Guy that can score 15-20 goals but still play physical and piss people off. Him and Kadri would drive teams nuts!
& I see Bracco as a Jason Pominville type player. Good vision and good playmaking ability. Someone that can QB a PP unit as a forward and put up a good amount of points. But Toronto already has that and Anaheim has internal replacements for him too. Could benefit both players and teams

How about Trouba and Kulikov for Timmins and 1st. (Timmins' value is very low with his injury issues so I want some assurance in the form of dumping Kulikov).
Either way, Trouba will probably not sign long-term in COL.

Make it Drouin, Domi and Gallagher for the 1st overall. Colorado needs an entire 2nd line and that would be perfect for them

Draft day trade with Avs
Dont think Jost for Little straight up happens, let alone adding more pieces going to Winnipeg.
Jost was the 10th overall pick in 2016, still a very young prospect to just give up on and throw in a package, plus Colorado can afford to go out get Hayes or another actual 2C instead of trading young players for a player that's really a 3C

lol no wtf
And the Avs have no use for Petry anyway... all he would do is block Makar's jump to the NHL along with Johnson and Barrie
If you want the Sens pick you would need to give up one of Kotkaniemi/Drouin/Domi and maybe add on top of that

No...You actually have to give up something of solid young building block assets to get the Sens pick...and you want the Avs pick on top of that...what are you smoking

They would have five picks in the first two rounds rather than three and they cant take on any more contracts, so the more prospects they get the better with them being in the rebuilding stages

Honestly man just give it a rest
