Considering the jets probably want to trade him with an extension, id say they want swayman and/or carlo back since they both fill a need. If not carlo, someone with term. Don't want more rentals like debrusk coming back.
Id saw swayman is a priority since he fills a need until dom/milic are ready in the next 3-4 years

Remove the 2nd and add something going back to the jets. And that's the rental cost... Im sure the jets will try to move him with an extension to get more

Id take it from the jets side. Vladar could have potential and it allows us to move helly without a goaltender coming back which may be valuable to some teams.

Fair. Tbh, if I'm the jets, I'm not moving anything significant just to move him. The jets can afford to be patient. They arent contending for the next couple of years.

Some other team then. Top 3 goalies arent ever available. Either someone pays or we wait. The jets have all the time in the world to get the right price.
The jets are not "handcuffed" here. They have over 8 months to deal with this. They can afford to wait and chevy is known for being more than patient until he gets what he wants. Just see the copp and dubois trades recently. Or even picking up Nino and Namestnikov at the tdl

The market was set with that

Remaining moves
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ChevelsDayOff</b></div><div>could you show where you’ve seen that toews wants to play? id take him if that’s the case
honestly schmidt could probably be easily traded at TDL with retention (jets can afford even 50%) to a contender looking for depth instead of paying to dump him. same with stanley, the jets dont have any pressure to dump him and likely can get a return with some other team
i think helle will be kept as a self-rental this season and they’ll take a run at re-signing him. doesnt seem like any team wants to pay what his price would be, in trade or contract.
i mostly agree about scheifele, he might be very motivated in his contract year too. with scheif (and helle), this team will likely make it to at least wildcard again, in which case they won’t be selling him off because they’ll try for a playoff push. without scheif, this team won’t make it to playoffs with that center depth and if they plan on that then they should trade him earlier in the season the better. its a tricky and interesting situation this season for winnipeg. chevy has a decent track record with this stuff so i’ll have my eyes glued to what he does for the next while</div></div>
id like to move schmidt asap to get heinola and/or chisholm NHL time.
I don't remember where, but I saw some reports on toews wanting to play a few days ago. Idk if they are reputable tho. If not, oh well. not tied to the idea.
Helly will get enough interest to get moved this offseason in my opinion

I agree he performed well, but he won’t make the nhl in my opinion. At at least with the jets. They have guys like Bauer, heinola, chisholm, salomonson, etc ahead of him. And torgersson was always going to be a bottom 6 guy for me.

OHL goaltender of the year. Looks like a steal. Suddenly, with milic, dom, and salminen, the goalie prospect depth is looking good.

Trade with carolina and winnipeg
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>RangersFan123</b></div><div>I don't think winnipeg gets chytil and a first for only 1 year of scheifele even at 50% retained. I was more trying to find a guy that would balance the trade value out. Chytil is signed for a couple of more seasons. My player of interest would be chaz lucius, but I know winnipeg and their fans love him, so I'm trying not to draw too much hate, haha. If I were the rangers, I would need a player back that is like nino or lucius from a value perspective because it would be high way robbery at that point in my opinion if they didn't. Which player on winnipeg realistically fits that description who is semi-available (forward would be preferable)? Would appleton or lowry work/fit?</div></div>
Oh, I thought you were getting scheifele with an extension done. Tbh, I wouldn’t move young assets for Chytik if I’m the jets. Especially Lucius. And lowry won’t be moved any time soon.
Considering the sheer number of jets stars on the trading block, I don’t think chevy will be enternating many offers for other players right now.

I think they move him for a 1st plus at the tdl if they think he won't stay. But chevy will likely (I hope) be working on extensions for him and demelo come july 1st.
