He is Corey Pronman’s of the Athletic (draft and prospects guru) 43rd rated prospect...and has pretty incredible things to say about him. He’s a legit good/great prospect.

I'd say Khovanov is 4th or 5th at worst. He's our #1 center prospect and there's a pretty considerable margin between him and our next best center prospect, which isn't a good thing for the Wild. Would be foolish to move him for Strome considering I think we're pretty far from a win-now position

Eichel and Pool Party - Geo to SJ

DeAngelo is better value that Jo in a straight up trade. Any team would take DeAngelo over the 2 choices 10 out of 10 times. I’ll admit Eichel is worth more than Strome plus two 1sts but you also gain a win in the Tony for Henri part of the deal too.... so it’s starts to close the gap

I mean he's very fast...that's his thing. It makes his ceiling high. But his floor is super low. If you're going to invest in a player, you want him to be able to excel in the KHL, not just float along.

NYR Offer Sheet Cirelli

Personally I’d rather trade strome for a first and third to make up for the loss of picks in the offer sheet plus I don’t think that would get Brodin.

NYR Offer Sheet Cirelli
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>cbalzer28</b></div><div>I dont know, like I said, Strome's Value is all over the board... he wouldve put up nearly 70 points this season as a 2C on a young team that could make the playoffs. He obviously has flaws but if you can't resign Brodin that is probably the skill you are getting for him as far as Centers go.</div></div>
I think you're right, and that's kind of why I'm leaning towards a preference of keeping Brodin. He's so valuable to the Wild but not many outside of MN know it since he doesn't produce big point totals and isn't flashy with the puck. If we signed him to a $7M x 6 year extension today, I'd be more than happy with that.

Which 2nd with Howden? the one going with Hajek to Arizona? If I do that I would just need to fill 4th line center but could use Andersson or grab a cheap UFA (Colin Wilson, Trevor Lewis, McKegg)</div></div>
yup. Lias or Barron or Khodorenko or bring in something cheap from outside.

NYR Dream Offseason - D Larkin requests trade

lol The Bruins had a grand total of 1 player under 23 play at least 20 games for the Bruins. That was Charlie McAvoy. The Rangers had 5 players under 22 play at least 60 games. Someone find me all these young guys hahahahahaha.

NYR Dream Offseason - D Larkin requests trade
[ quote=cbalzer28;1361691]He was just on one of the worst teams in NHL history and as the Rangers have shown it will be a solid 3-4 years to do a rebuild right again. Does Larkin want to wait until he is 26 to be in the playoffs again? Its just a thought and like I said it was a dream scenario.[/quote]
i wouldnt bother
its like Leafs fans with Sundin , even after he was traded they swore they'd never trade him .
you could offer them 4 firsts and a top Center they'll still say no and act like its nothing .
Its the definition of Stupid . i mean its one thing to drive up his value but DET fans actually believe it
Larkins good but his value holds no more or less then Tyler Seguins held when he was traded
Pretending otherwise shows how far from reality these people live choosing to ignore trade history and facts in favor of opinion.
i was this way about Damphousse when i was a child then i grew up
