I think one of Quinn or Peterka would need to be in the deal.
Ottawa will want quality over quantity

Why would ottawa want picks ?
They’d want a young solid player as the starting piece. Definitely picks in the deal but not as the centrepiece unless it’s a top 5 pick

OFFSEASON
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>logmacinnis2</b></div><div>Meant to retain 50% of Murphy so that's on me. Ottawa needs the cap to sign and build a better d core starting with that right side, so Zub making 4.6 is not helping that
Defensive signings are too stabilize the young guys and help them focus on their individual growth while providing a back bone for them to lean on
Anyone thinking that the hawks are going to go out and sign a star forward or defenseman to improve on where they were from last year is kidding themselves. Any star that were to sign here would be on a 1 year deal that gets traded at the deadline. This is a solid team around the bottom 8-10 range which is where the hawks are looking to be. The pieces signed are there to ensure the depth is decent enough so if they have a disaster class of injuries again they aren't an AHL team</div></div>
Zub is one of the best defensive Dmen in the league. Come on buddy

Makes you wonder why Ottawa is consistently one of the worst teams in the league of that is true.
Anyways. Stutzle is an excellent player and I don't blame you for not wanting to move him, but exaggerating doesn't make your point better.
But if it makes you feel better, yes Stutzle is more valuable than McGroarty.</div></div>
Stutzle maintained close to a point per game this year while playing almost the whole season with a wrist injury

Yeah you’re right there’s like great B+ possibly an A- prospect. But no one that will be most of what Brady is

Ottawa’s offence the last 2 years has been enough to make the playoffs.
The save percentage at .895 and .884 wasn’t close to enough
And there wasn’t enough net front clearing D

None of these prospects have legit top 6 / top pair ceiling .
Wahlberg and Rosen are at best middle 6 players. And no team would be interested in taking Skinner

Still seems pretty unlikely to me, but obviously you’d have a better sense of what’s going on with Ottawa</div></div>
It’s not about Brady moving because he’s a problem. I am interested in a 2 year retool for Ottawa. Go crazy for the 2024 and 2025 draft . Fix the prospect pool and then start pushing again with ELCs and more of an identity. And then Sanderson and Stutzle will be ready by age 24
I’m not sure that’s the direction they go in but I like it better for the longterm health of the sens

It’s more so his play driving and defence ability 5v5.
Points are everything anymore. Hedman was one of the worst defencemen defensively per the analytics this year

Yeah not sure the Sens have interest in skinner .
I also don’t think it takes this much to get Brady.
My guess is :
Quinn or Peterka
Greenway or Wahlberg
2024 1st or 2025 1st
