Exactly what I said he’d be traded for another young player under team control, Foegle is the type of player that we needed to add to our middle six, love the trade

Final Roster
I heard Holland doesn't trade his 1sts, or won't now, but seems like Bear is the odd man out in Edmonton according to rumors. Since there were also reports that none of there top prospects are available, it's starting to feel like a strong possibility something like that happens.
From the Rangers I want their 1st or I'm not trading Dvorak over there.
Don't mind Elvenes, but Korczak would be a nice get from Vegas in my opinion for Kessel.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>desertdog111</b></div><div>It would be a fantastic 3rd line, one of the best in the league in my opinion.
They really dropped the ball on some picks, especially since there was no side deals. They should have taken Bean, Domi, Zadorov, and probably Fischer instead of the guys they took from those teams. But you can’t ignore the amount of cap space they have, they can sign both Hamilton and Landeskog and have 10 M remaining. Don’t think they’ll get either guy but still, cap space is a valuable asset</div></div>
Yeah there were about eight guys that I think would've been better choices to take from the Kings too.
Will be interesting to see if they sign some more guys in free agency.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ghost has a similar deadline deal to what Tampa did with Savard. Say Arizona gets a 1st from a contending team for Ghost 1/2 retained and another team gets a 3rd for retaining 1M.

what the coyotes should do
If you're new to this site. Leaf prospects such as Amirov and Robertson hold the same value as such other players as Pastrnak and Kucherov. Much like Jeremy Bracco was worth Dougie Hamilton not so long ago.

I'd like to see Arizona aim a little higher on these returns, but they don't seem that far off realistic. He'll hopefully get a 1st and a pretty solid prospect from Garland, so that'll be nice. Stockpiling seconds should help refill the cupboards, but it's not going to get you higher end talent.

Chychrun to LA
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>desertdog111</b></div><div>Then how is a Turcotte for Chychrun 1 for 1 fair in your mind?</div></div>
It's 100% not. That was my point. You suggested that people around here valued potential over skill. I said that IF that were the case, then I would be proposing Turcotte for Chychrun and not #8 + Turcotte + Walker. Two top quality "potential" pieces, and one good quality skill player on a team-friendly deal.

Imagine saying Anderson and Bjornfot are untouchable for Chych
This site loves valuing potential over actual performance. Neither of those two will be as good as Chych.

Possible OEL Destinations
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>desertdog111</b></div><div>I agree, which is why I said that I don’t think the trade is likely to happen when I posted it. But if they have Kreider they have the same problem, just a question of whether they’d rather have Kreider taking playing time from the kids up front or OEL doing the same on the backend</div></div>
CK at this point with Laf and Panarin is 3LW, and they can’t move him to RW to take playing time away from Kravtsov IF Buch is extended. A 3rd line w/ CK and Krav on the wings, any C can look very good. Also, on the other side of it, OEL hasn’t looked great as he’s gotten older so that’s a lot of $ to pay a 2/3rd pairing LD.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>desertdog111</b></div><div>Krejci with no RW is still better than Schmaltz and Crouse haha. Even just the eye test I’d say Garland is the better player regardless of the stats. I can see why Boston would at least ask for the hometown kid but it would be criminal for the Coyotes to agree to that. In my opinion give Garland to the Bruins and you can just hand them the cup next year</div></div>
The fact that their goal totals match their assist totals show that neither have had much with them.
Well that is the goal..to win the cup. But Garland is not the difference between them winning or not. Their top 9 is fine. Keeping the D healthy so they are not playing with 5 3rd pair guys would help. Not playing an injured goalie would help too. They can’t bring in an LD1 but if they get a pair of LD2s one puck mover, one big nasty for about 6m combined. That would be a BIG help. Lol.

Possible OEL Destinations
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>desertdog111</b></div><div>That’s fine, when Garland’s name is entered into the OEL trade discussion, the Coyotes hang up. They will be able to find a way to get rid of OEL without giving up their most valuable player.
The difference between Debrusk’s and Garland’s production is that Debrusk was the beneficiary of playing with other good players. That was shown a bit this year when his quality of line mate decreased. Nothing wrong with that, but teams aren’t going to pay the price mentioned above for a complementary player like that. Garland is creating all of his own offense with very limited help. There are teams that will pay that price for a player like that. But again I think it’s a moot point because I don’t think he will be traded.</div></div>
That’s debatable. His first 3 years in the league he played with Krejci and no RW. He wasn’t on the ice with Pasta, Bergy, Marchy.
I agree Zona should never use Garland to move OEL. But that’s about the only way i’d take OEL. 🤷🏻♂️
