This is classic Tampa getting away with signing a great player to an undervalue contract
I still stick with Sergachev getting OS next year

And they also dont forget that they will only have about 69mil in AAV next summer with Domi, Mete and Juulsen to sign
Domi 8y x 7.5 mil
Mete 2y x 2 mil
Juulsen 1y x 1mil
Also Instead of the 1st and 2nd, i would prefer that the Rangers send K'Andre Miller (6'5" puck moving LHD who will prob play in 2020-2021)

saving nyr and poehling is in
Agreed Peca goes back the other way but i think the deal should be Smith+Miller for Peca.
I dont think Nemestikov is going to be traded by the rangers especially after Panarin signed there.
And Rangers will probably be a lotto team this year.
EDIT
Actually i would do this deal with Marc staal + K'Andre Miller for Peca
Staal is somewhat serviceable and has a bigger cap hit (5.7 for 2 more years aka hes a UFA for 2021)
Also do you know who's also going to Wisconsin (and this is important for when it comes to sign K'Andre in a few years): Cole Caufield

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Hedman4Norris</b></div><div>Same here, i projected volkov and joseph making the team last season . . . 50%. so this year volkov should make it, I really want foote to make it this year, I think he could hang he has size and is a young lad so he could turn heads like cernak. also cost control helps. I'd rather see foote in the line up for building chemistry with guys like mcd and heds since foote cernak and serg will likely be our right side for the next few years as long as serg can prove that he can compete in the top 4 I'll have more confidence in our D since mcd and heds are veteran leaders that can teach the younger guys a few things and improve the unique mold of their styles . Which would set our D 5/6 and I like the idea of knowing what we are working with down the line. Also just my perspective Foote>schenn rutta witowski youth baby</div></div>
I honestly think Sergachev will be a offer sheet target next year where someone might offer him 8 mil for 5 years.
The kid has 72 points in 152 games playing a limited role behind Hedman and Mcdonagh. Imagine if he hits 50 points this year
At least if I'm Sergachev i would try.
Next summer you're looking at a possible Nurse, Chabot or Sergachev offer sheet

But I think with the 11 1st rounders and lets say 3 of those are 1st pairing/liners, the sens actually lineup to have them exit their ELCs when the bad contracts would expire (except for Neal and Lucic).
Maybe replace that tampa trade for Alzner + 1st + 2nd for whatever and this is even better.
Also you have the room next to sign Chabot to 8x10

3 way trade with WPG and EDM

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Sabrebluehs</b></div><div>Jets have $22 mil in cap space. Larsson is a cheaper option for 4th line then Lowry, saves them at least a million. Risto is a little cheaper then Ehlers. Jesse P is an RFA but could be had for around $1 mil on bridge deal. Basically swapping Roslovic for Jesse P. They are both unhappy on current teams and can use change of scenery. Edmonton gets a speedy winger in place of RNH who is signed to a good contract for a longer term. Risto gives WPG a solid RD behind Big Buf.</div></div>
I think you need a first going WIN's way or you cancel out Roslovic and send the 1st to Edm
Im thinking that Risto + 1st = Ehlers + Roslovic and Ehlers + Roslovic = RNH or Risto = Ehlers and Ehlers + 1st = RNH

Laine wants over 10 mil.
Even if they sign everyone at a league min, their D needs to be improved

I was saying Alzner because thats what the habs would actually want CGY to take. CGY would say no and the convo ends there

Its going to take a lot more than 1 1st round pick to take that Neal contract especially at the cost of Lehkonen.

I dont think they do, because the jets arent close to signing Laine. He wants 10 mil and the Jets arent even near that number. Plus there are rumours that MTL is interested in Laine.
In this case, you get a roster player thats signed at 5.5 for the next 4 years and next to Sheifele and Wheeler could put up 60-70 points or you put him next to Ehlers. Drouin would be a great fit for Winnipeg.
Lehkonen would be Maurice's favorite player and you get a first. IMO i would also add a 2nd and 3rd to make it like an offer sheet.

IDK what fair value is for Vegas, but MTL would have the deepest set of wingers in the NHL, bar none. Arguably already do but definitely so with that trade.
P.S. I thought Domi played center and Poehling wing?</div></div>
Deepest set of depth wingers ***
If Poehling is on the wing, Habs fans will have the heads of Julien and Bergevin. We don't need to repeat the Galchenyuk experience

He had nose surgery at the end of the season for a lingering nose injury from the previous summer. So maybe by the end of it his nose had gotten so bad that he couldnt breath properly?
