They have to hold one of Johnson/Killorn/Palat/Gourde hostage and force them to waive the NTC and trade for just picks

No I meant Vasy next year. Say a team like Detroit wins the lottery and get Lafreniere, theyd have a pretty deep offense. Then, they offersheet Vasy to 10.4 and I think that shoots them up to a division spot.

Vasilevskiy just signed an extension. 8 years, 9.5M. In real life.

Everyone has a full NTC that is paid more than 2mil. I wouldn't be surprised if Vasilevsky has some kind of NTC or NMC

This is classic Tampa getting away with signing a great player to an undervalue contract

I still stick with Sergachev getting OS next year

BriseBois has been the one running the cap management during the Yzerman era, so I think we are good.

Everybody always freak out, but us Tampa fans have been asking ourselfs "how are we gonna afford this player now"? ever since Stamkos re-signed in 2016. And there we are, better than we're ever been.
