For context Adam Ruzicka is also 22 and put up a 1.23 PPG pace in the AHL (before being called up) on a similarly strong team. He is a a much bigger center and is projected to peak as a 3rd liner
No that compromise would not interest Columbus at all and LA would take that and run</div></div>
Ruzicka is full draft year older and in the middle of his third full AHL season. Madden is 1.5 years in the AHL. Could go in circles but fair enough we’ll hang up and kick the tires elsewhere

Agree on the move to wing. Think 2nd line is a pretty good bet for him with 3rd line floor and 1st line ceiling.
The compromise would have to be two of Turcotte/Kupari/Madden and a 1st but it seems like both sides would have some reservations.

Fair enough. But Tyler madden is extremely slept on based on the depth of the kings system. Arguable would be your second best F prospect.

Playoffs or Bust
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>PuckLuck_77</b></div><div>I doubt a 3rd round pick is enough to dissuade Seattle from taking Clague. At this point, I'd just let the chips fall where they may with regards to the expansion draft.
I really like the Suter acquisition, but I think I'd probably pair him with Sean Walker instead. That would allow Mikey to continue to develop against top-level competition.
I can't see Brownie playing beside anyone other than Kopi for opening night. Maybe as the season goes on and he wears down, but I'd put money on him being on the top line to start.
Cal will be the starter over Quick this year.
Other than that, really solid job! I think this team could push for a playoff spot in the weak Pacific Division next year. Trying not to get overly excited by the thought of it.</div></div>
Agree on the hard to see Brownie away from Kopi and historically he performs much better along with Kopi but I've been dying to see Kopi with some skilled wingers for forever. Never understood with Toff and him never played together for longer stretches.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>tryger</b></div><div>I mean I've given you every point I've got here. The Kings have an excellent prospect pool and several picks for the next draft. They need more players like Iafallo and less giving up years if they want to squeeze the compete level out of the veterans. If you really think the best the Kings can get for Iafallo from every buyer in the league is a 3rd and Kokkenen, then you are entitled to that opinion, I disagree.</div></div>
Btw I’m the OP and I’m a Kings fan. Mikko Kokkenen is a stud who was drafted way later than he should’ve been. He’d probably be the top LD prospect in our system. No way we’re getting Sandin or Lillegren for Iafallo. To get Kokkenen and a 3rd is extremely good value for Iafallo though I agree if just for picks then need a 2nd

Quick to Blues
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>mobluesfan</b></div><div>I proposed a trade for Quick earlier today and was wondering what it would take. I offered Allen and a couple 2nd tier prospects in Sammy Blais and Sanford with a second. I do believe that it may take a Kostin or Kyrou type of player though. I could definitely get behind this.
I honestly think Allen is the perfect player that needs a change in scenery. He is one of the best goalies on the road, but sucks at home. Blues struggled defensively early and Allen paid the price. Not that he played well, but the team play had a bit to do with it to. Maybe if he played for a different team he would only play bad in STL :)</div></div>
To this point, with the Kings pedigree developing goalies, I am extremely confident he would regain his form. It may take until the 2020 deadline but someone would be willing to give up assets for him if the Kings were looking to flip him at some point.

Quick to Blues
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>tkecanuck341</b></div><div>I don't think there is a market for Allen unless the team trading retains significant salary, includes a heavy sweetener, or takes back a cap dump in return.
However, due to the back-loaded nature of his contract, they could buy him out this summer without a significant cap hit in any given year.
Return for Quick seems reasonable considering they'd be giving the Blues an out on Allen's contract.</div></div>
Yeah would think a mid round pick would be the return for Allen so not great but Blues can't afford to take Quick without Allen leaving. Which is why the Kings get good value for Quick here.

You're absolutely right that the Kings should keep him, his value is at an all time low right now, they won't get much back for him if they trade him now. Nobody is going to give up a 1st for him at the moment. I'd say it's in the best interest for L.A. to keep him.
Also just FYI, Tofollo has only had one season where he's scored over 25 goals</div></div>

Damn I thought the organization was down on JHS. Since Toffoli is young, controllable and a proven 25 goal scorer I would like the Kings to hold on to him. But for the sake of the offer I'd think Toffoli's asking price should be a 1st and JHS and even that from the Kings perspective doesn't make much sense unless they blow the whole team up.
