While it is true that Zetterberg did put up close to 70 points last season, I would argue that there are things that teams should not pay an overly high price. Firstly, Zetterberg is a few months away from turning 37 years old, so with four years left on his contract with over a $6 Million cap hit, you will likely have, at most, two years left of Zetterberg being a high quality player. Another reason that I don't believe the deal you propose is a good deal is because of Zetterberg's injury history. You couple Zetterberg's age and likeliness to decline in performance over the next two or three years because of that age, his contract which takes him until he's 40-41 years old, and an injury history that isn't exactly unblemished, I can't see anyone being willing to pay more than what I have given, which, in fairness, is a roster player in Prince, as well as a potential replacement if you can nab either Lias Andersson or Elias Petterson at #15.</div></div>

Not sure what injury history you're talking about on Zetterberg, Throughout his career he's only had one season where he missed any significant amount of games and that was the 2013-2014 season where he played 45 games in a 82 game schedule due to the herniated disc in his back and he still had 48 points that season in 45 games or a point per game average. Granted yes he's getting older and turns 37 on October 9th close to the start of the new season. But bottom line we're not going to give him away for nothing and Price and the #15 pick is giving him away for nothing he's still a recapture penalty risk here. I can't see Zetterberg playing out his career with the Islanders right now the Islanders aren't much better then Detroit. Holland isn't going to trade Zetterberg unless he ask out and i seriously doubt that happens he's one a cup in Detroit and is happy with that won cup. Bottom line is Prince and your first doesn't cut it for a future hall of famer in Henrik Zetterberg.</div></div>

you're right about a lot.....but to say the Isles aren't much better than the Wings now is wrong. Its not that close.
