Possible bruins lineup 1
Lysell and Beecher need a full year in the AHL. At some point the bruins are going to have to give Studnicka a spot to loose. Steen had a great year too he should also get a chance.

A Performance Bonus can be given to a player in addition to their salary. Performance bonuses are only paid to the player if they meet the requirements as defined by the bonus. Performance bonuses count against the salary cap; however, a team can exceed the salary cap due to performance bonuses by the maximum performance bonus cushion amount of 7.5 percent of the upper limit. Not all players are eligible for Performance Bonuses, and to receive a bonus within their contract, a player must meet one of the following criteria:
1.The player is on an entry-level contract.
2.The player has signed a one-year contract and is over 35 years old.
3.The player has signed a one-year contract after returning from a long-term injury (has played 400 or more games, and spent 100 or more days on the Injured Reserve in the last year of their most recent contract).
Bergeron signing for 2 years wouldn't be eligible as per point #2.
Contract has to be 1 year for it to be eligible.</div></div>
I'm glad you're capable of answering your own questions. I'd be shocked if Bergeron signed more than one year.

I mean if the cap hits are too low for you then pretend they are ~$5M as they have $4.6M in cap space with this predicted roster and therefore could give both of them an extra $2M without batting an eye.

i can't help but agree that most teams would consider it the "best offseason" if you not only managed to shed $9M+ in mediocre/bad players, but you got a couple picks for your troubles too!

IDK what Boston fans you were talking to, but there isn't any sane poster that thought Studnicka would be the main piece in a JT Miller deal.

Reilly will get a 3rd. Isles most likely destination.
Studnicka is not being moved for a 6th, laughable.
Kadri contract is horrible. You fell for one of the classic blunders. The most famous of such is never get involved in a land war in Asia. But only slightly less well-known is this: never pay for a career year for a player over 30.

No Bruins need to keep that D depth, after Clifton it drops pretty big until Zboril returns. If Sweeney goes after a C Studs will be involved.

I've got to agree with the crowd on this one. It's too much quantity and not enough quality for the Ducks. They can get better shopping Rakell elsewhere

I could be wrong, and even if I am it doesnt change my point on where he would be on our long-term depth chart
He would still be behind all the players I mentioned above if his ceiling was a top 6 based on his age and current track record
